That first one though, wow. -
Doing my usual jumping around from kit to kit, I put some plumbing into the wheel bays of Academy's 1/72 F-14. Used some lead wire secured with CA. There's a lot more that needs to be in there, but I'm banking on keeping my sanity.😀 And the resin seats showed up for the D-variant. Now those others I was kit-bashing together will show up. Thom

No, other than that, I thought it was pretty good. And they are working the script for a third.

Saw Rebel Moon and despite hearing a lot of criticism about it, I liked it. It was interesting, adventurous and fun, which is my bar. I thought Sofia Boutella did a good job doing the character of a tortured ex-soldier. Andor (I forget what his character name is, but the guy she left the village with) was pretty good too. He came off as a bit weasel-ly at the start but proved himself. The other 'Samurai' were good too. If I have one critique, it is that they blew through their introductions a little too fast, and then they were just in the background or filling out fight scenes. I would have sat through twenty more minutes to flesh them out with more interactions. Really interested in seeing the next one, and finding out why she has the nickname of Scargiver... There was pain on her face when Noble called her that. One thing I really didn't like about it, was the design of the ships. To me, they were too rounded and bulbous. King's Gaze had a nice profile, but that was it. Watching it, I was wishing they had the ships from Jupiter Ascending instead. Those designs would have fit better.

@Rock I was right, it does look awesome! And staying tuned in @pengbuzz! Any plan of doing Lewis next...?
-
@Rock I'm assuming the Eduard is on the left. Get that painted up and it will look awesome!
-
@pengbuzz The added articulation is impressive, esp putting it all together so that it barely looks like its even modified. Fantastic!

That's a really sweet mash-up! -
Milestone!! Everyone have a celebratory swig of your favorite brew!

@Goodman Models Some nice blue tones on that mech. Clean looking build. @Chas Never was one much for the old anime-style ships, but that does look pretty cool. Nice. @derex3592 I did the Jolly Roger MCP boxing a few years ago. It's a good kit, nice OOB but open for extra detailing if desired.
-
Some truly great work there, @pengbuzz! Love the new articulation! Can't wait to see what you do with the head.
-
@HWR MKII Great work on that Kronos One! Love all the detail and the lights. @derex3592 Sounds more like a short story with a loong happy ending! Sure you could have just bought a new one, but where's the sense of victory in just buying something..?

Impressive work on that dio! I can picture Roy climbing out of the Tomcat, giving its side a little farewell pat, before turning and going to the Valkyrie. -
Took me a moment to recognize Ed Harris! Looks interesting, though I'm not usually into crime dramas.

I know Kawamori wouldn't do any follow-on to the original series because the voice actor for Hikaru (who was his friend) passed away. But I could see, and would love, for them to just redo the animation and keep the original voice audio.

Finally saw this teaser and it certainly feels like a BHC movie. Though, I'm wondering if they de-aged Murphy, esp when compared to Reinhold and Ashton!

That's about twice what I paid, but you got three kits delivered, to my one, so I think you are ahead. And mine showed up. Damn big box, which doesn't make it easy on shipping either.
-
I almost did to, as I have no plans of building it yet, but the difference was only about 5 or so bucks, so...

Cool seeing a Catseye back on the table! @derex3592. Those pilots look really good.

Dang, @derex3592, that's a good looking Bone! Academy made a nice kit, but you finished it out in fine fashion.
