No problem about time. We all know it takes some to get something good. Thanks for the tip about the nose markers, but did you paint them on the inside, like the 'eye' piece on the head? That turned out real well on mine.

I bought this as pre-order when it first came out, and finally got around to it. Its a really sweet model, great on detail, both in what you see, and the planning that took it from someone's thoughts, to my modeling table! Here are some pics. I know some will put it straight together, but I think it will benefit from a coat of white. I just can't get past some of the plastic 'swirl' effect on the surface. While I was watching episode 12 again, I noted how the VF-25 changes from tandem to single seat and back again. I put this up to the transforming characteristics of the technology, then thought, 'why not make it a two seater?' I have a 1/100 scale Gundam on the sidelines and its seat and pilot are just about perfect. Lucky!! The figure is just slightly smaller, and the size difference is hardly noticeable unless you compare side to side with Alto. I voted for LION, but having reheard the second CD, I would have to say that Battle Aimo plays a close damn second, after Medley which is number one! It has a driving, dark force to it, as we understand along with Ranka, that this is not a battle hymn. And the fact the Vajra's love song was being used in this fashion is a cool, dark twist.

Does anyone knwo when the other valkyries - Michel's and Luc's will be available in the US? I certainly am not minding dropping fifty bucks a pop on them! Although armor packs would be great. I would also love to see some ship models. That may never be, or not for some time, so until then I'm thinking of kit-bashing a Gundam into a Quarter style warship.

Add my wishes - that Misa looks great! Could you have one of her sitting, as when she and Hikaru are outside the Grand Canon in his valkyrie. I want to do a dio of that! And how much were thinking as to price? And will you be selling them in bunches, half a dozen for however much?

I was thinking, Max vs Millia - either version. Then Shin in Part 1 of Zero - awesome visuals in that. Then I thought of Klan Klan - anyone she's in is great, and even though she lost, I chose her and Brera - simply for that one ultra long shot. It's like her female intuition set in and she was so happy... Who else hit Brera so easily? Now if she had pwned him that would have been it, but he had better kung-fu... But still, that's my choice.

In Robotech, she died along with Gloval, Claudia, Vanessa and Kim when the SDF-1 was destroyed. In Macross, I have no idea. I assume she had a wonderful military career and like Max, got her own fleet to command! All Hail Captain Shammy!!

When done right, it could be a blast. What they did so good, was to say that art and culture can trump war, but they also did it while showing one of the best battle sequences in anime! Does anyone know if this may be a blend of Macross and Robotech, or is it going to all from the US pwned version?

Awesome episode! It kicked arse from start to finish. Total mecha slaughter and Macross songs galore. I love stories and battle scenes that give me chills. That last drive against Grace did just that. It was so good, I didn't mind too much about the unresolved triangle! Though as I think about it, I'm glad I'm 'hearing' all this talk about a follow-up movie. I hope it is a continuation and not a re shoot. That would be cool, but not enough cool. Perhaps Michel could return to save Klan Klan's broken heart! And I would hope it would include a resolution to Hikaru and Misa and Minmei. I would love to know what happened to them. That is too much of a black hole. Now, I'm off to watch the ending again. God, I love this series...

Awesome EP. I agree with MisaForever, I haven't seen a bad EP of Mac-F yet! I will start by stating that I am a Ranka-Fan!! Let's not forget that these are still teenagers stuck in a terrible situation. It takes time to figure out what the right thing is to do. If they do resolve the triangle, I hope she end up with Alto. There is much more between her and Alto, than Sheryl and him. You don't get that much angst unless there is something big between them. I think Alto loves her to and I half expected him to fly after her. I think she needs him to. Letting someone go as she did may be the best way of saying I Love You. After the loss of Island 3 she was saying 'sorry' to the Vajra. She couldn't sing before that because she knew they were going to die and she could feel their pain. Not to mention that the whole city was under attack. Talk about being caught between a rock and a hard place. Call her immature and selfish all you want, but despite the pain she did what needed to be done to protect her friends. Now I think she has to do what she can to protect the Vajra. If anything Ai-kun has shown her the the Vajra don't start out evil. Grace and Co. did something to them, using Galaxy as a test bed and the Vajra just like the Marduk used the brainwashed Zentraedi in Macross II. I'll speculate here, and assume that there is an older queen, perhaps one close to death and Grace is using Ranka as a replacement that she can control. Control the queen, control the Vajra. The Vajra may end up being as much victims as Frontier and Galaxy. It all goes back to what happened on the 117th Fleet. Did they meld her DNA with the Vajra? Is the 'little queen' really Ranka, or a Vajra queen growing in her belly? Above all, Ranka doesn't want anyone else to die. She wants to stop the fighting - and what better way than to face 'her' people? Alto's response shows that he hasn't reached that point yet. The Vajra had just killed Michel and were turning his sky into a battlefield, so he has a ways to go and some leaps to make to keep up with Ranka. She's already seen that fighting is not the way. It never has been in Macross. I also think that her leaving could be a catalyst for their relationship. She's suddenly gone, and that as they say, 'absence makes the heart grow fonder...' I can't picture Alto just sitting around and waiting for her to come back. He has a habit of jumping into situations, especially when people he cares about are in danger. And poor Klan. I really feel sad for her. She held this silent torch for Michel, waited so long for some sign, letting her own insecurities stop her, letting Michel remain blind to what was right before him, and now its too late. Strapping on the Fast Pack and pasting some Vajra would never be enough for that wound. Her sitting in his cockpit, looking at that picture of them as kids was incredibly touching. I don't read any fan speculation or spoilers, so his death was a surprise. And painful. Klan finally admits her feeling, and so does Michel, with literally his last breath. Just goes to show that in life as well as anime, you shouldn't wait for the important things. I wonder now if next time she goes into battle it won't be in her Zentraedi armor, but Michel's Valkyrie... Although, how did he get sucked out into space? They were in the SMS building, almost exact center of the city, far away from the dome and the hull and they still managed to breach a hole into space. Leaving no body behind... It makes me wonder, is he really dead? Just fanciful thinking here, but what if Grace and Co. got their hands on him and turned him into a cyborg like Brera...? Back to Ranka , I did read where some others mentioned her coming back as more 'mature' physically. I wonder why that would be? If you don't like her that's fine, but if all she has to do is grow into a psudo-Nanase figure to make you like her, then there is something really wrong with you! this is a joke. it is only a joke. had this been a true criticism there would be no smiley face! As for Leon, I think he should have died the moment he stuck his down down Catherine's throat!! Disgusting. How could she take that slimy thing and his moe-hair and wee-beady eyes. And that smug look on his face, 'oh your gonna buy my chicken, ho.' Ozma should ram his hand down Leon's throat, grab his balls and then haul them back up until their hanging out of his mouth! I might like him better that way!

I choose to watch all my anime subbed so I haven't heard Japanese songs translated. It's a shame if they don't come across, and by 'they' I mean ALL the songs from Macross F of course!! Sorry if I was a bit vague. Is it just me, or do 'western' songs pale in comparison...or is it just better that I can't understand them without reading them?

Someone has GOT to translate and sing these songs, then post them for all of us. They rock! There has to be a talented person on this forum, or other, who can.
