That looks pretty sweet.

Some great builds going on, from the Battlestar Pegasus, those great F/A-18s to the aves canvas top, the Starbucks ride and the ample nacelles Scotty so appreciates! Great stuff. Here's my little contribution, my Battlestar Aegis...

Robotech - Love Live Alive + Shadow Chronicles 2-movie set
Thom replied to Negotiator's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It looks old and it sounds old, and the time I would have watched something like that without caring was when I was twelve... That, and I don't like shows based on flashbacks...- 371 replies

When I did my Mk II, the decals literally fell apart in the water... Except for those, really nice build.

I'm working right now on a 'roll bar' equipped Valkyrie class ship from BSG, This one is named the Aegis and has capabilities akin to an AWACS through its Advanced Range DRADIS system. The ARDRIS. I'm using the Bad-Azz Valkyrie 1/2500 kit, though I'm scaling it down to 1/4105 and using Paragrafix PE set for the launch bays. This is after I cut into the resin to fit the PE piece.

I remeber that scene. As a kid I was still touched and saddened when I saw it.

Well, when they flew out of Alaska Base, they didn't fly very far. Not with a busted canopy. And I always thought that the Macross settled into a crater not too far from them. As it sure looked like it was in no condition to fly anywhere else...

I like the work on those trunks! Pretty neat.

Have to love those lucky finds...

I came across this while doing some looking around before starting my Jolly Roger'a tribute VF-25S. There are three pics a little more than half way down of a white VF-25 with forwards swept wings and a different head peice. http://www.sgcollect.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59491&st=180 The wings, I'm sure, are from the YF-19. I think the head too, and the shield definitely. The idea needs a little work, but that might be a future build!

You got that for a DOLLAR!!? I hate, but envy you so much. I just dropped fifty on one...

You're going to turn it into a flying, transforming repair yard! Awesome.I can't wait!

Sweet! Nice start on the the shading. And you're right, it is a weighty kit.

That tank looks great. Cool WHIF!

I know, but you get a lot of detail for that fifty, even before spending almost twice that on the PE sets, if you'r not going to buy the resin detail peices from Catalyst Creations https://www.facebook.com/pages/Catalyst-Creations/345458355475644 - and someone may be doing more detailed engines... whew... A little more done today, She finally started to wear her gray, after I added the long range tactical comm suite, ...and the dome of what I'm calling the Advanced Range DRADIS - ARDRIS for short, And the gray, Now I have to finish the engines and get the guns loaded up and she'll soon be dun.

Oh yah! I've seen that picture, and have plans of - eventually - doing a similar mod. Nicely done on that one! Kewl.

Wow, nice work EXO. Cheng, I applaud your mad masking skills, despite how insane they made you... And Phyrox, that Panzer looks damn mean! And I once had a model of that Camaro!

My next build, the Viper Mk VIII - as built by the Rag Tag survivors of the Cylon Holocaust.

They sell the original super parts seperately, does anyone know if they will ever sell the Tornado parts the same way? -
Yes very nice! I always liked that design, although this one looks like an Earth built variant. I'd love to have one!

Why couldn't they land it like the Talon's in the movie Stealth? Much more showy-er that way.

That's a cool battlepod. I always liked the officer's pod better than the grunts.
