That may be something that modelers would do, but dollers may not be concerned about.

Yeah, he could have tidied up the seams and all, but it still is just a doll. And I have seen some of this guys work before. Exemplary.

Alien is alien. The first mistake would be to assume they would do as we would do.

I guess the first question is, especially when you can't communicate yet, is who is going to be the wolf..? Keeping in mind, we have plenty of instances in our history where it is never good to be the primitive. We also don't know what the aliens are doing, other than just hanging there. They're all around the planet and we can't talk to them. It's llke a stranger standing silently at your front door, and not you or the police or military can do anything about him. At some point, you're going to punch.

Well, I tried Klear at first, and it worked good for May's canopy. But the Stig's just would stay on, so CA came out again. Kind of oa double-edged sword, as it worked, but it fogged around the edges despite the two coats of Future previously applied. I'll just have to keep the masking and higher on the sides than I would originally want. No big deal, as I can 'splain it away as a newer canopy style! So they are on, gaps not withstanding by poor sand-to-shape-skills! I'm applying small amounts of Mr D Putty and wiping it off to build up a layer around the edges, and especially to cover the slight gaps that were at the front of both glazings. That and where I mask it for paint should help. Also did the chaff dispenser. I took one of the sensor blisters from the spine, drilled holes in for dispensers and glued it to the belly. This misc piece replaced it. Have I mentioned how good Gundam has been to me!? And I'm changing its model letter. With so many changes, it's no longer an ES-11D. Now it's an ES-11E.

I'm liking the look of this. I think Amy Adams is very good, and the subject of language hardly ever comes up in sci fi stories. It will always be the first lynch-pin.

Been a couple of days, but I've been working on the canopies. They were a real bugger to get off the plugs, especially without crazing the plastic! Then it was sand sand sand sand sand sand sand untill they finally started to fit. Then I sanded too far! Oh well, they're just tiny gaps. After two dips in Pledge Future Shine and a day to dry, they are on the fuselage. I'll wait until the CA has fully set before- Okay they're off! Dupid me, I hadn't realized I'd smudged the inner rear canopy. Dang. I'll clean and try again!

Enterprise was a good series. The best? No. But very good. What I didn't like was the whole Xindi arc. Pretty convoluted and unbelievable in many spots. After that it started going better, especially the xenophobic episode with Weller. REally wish they had given it one more season...

The Queen thought a Raptor would make a good home! Also glad to hear they took care of it without harm to the bees. From what it says, they think the Queen may have stopped for a rest and the others just gathered. Pretty sweet.

Star Trek Beyond (the not The Search for Spock)
Thom replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Especially not since the American audience is being shafted and charged extra, while every other country with Netflix will get it without any extra fees. Plus being charged for commercials. It's total bullshit.- 466 replies

That's all it is. Speculations and daydreams. If some people want to fit Snyder's movies onto the end of Nolans, I say have at it. The DVDs are on their shelves after all. This doesn't change the actual discontinuity between the two separate franchises, it's just someone saying, 'hey, what if..?'

The very last EP of TOS, Turnabout Intruder. A woman denied captaincy because of gender forces a body-swap with Kirk. Personally, I think this is a big of canon that can be forgotten. On another note, does anyone who not like diversity not want aliens on the show? Aliens are pretty divers already, but if nobody wants that, I guess they can do a Star Trek series without any.

A very good thought. It ties it in very nicely to the Nolan movies. It would explain why Robin's suit was enshrined, as in the Bats memorializing not just a friend, but also when he let down his guard. In this connection he was not there to help or save Robin. Selina not being there could be explained in that she didn't want to return to that life. In TDKR her character is all about getting a fresh, new start. Going back to Gotham would not be something she would want. Although, I would certainly love for her to make an appearance!

I'm just guessing, but that must then mean that BvS was the first of the Justice League movies, as in Dawn of... Which then probably should have had more WW. We should always have more WW. Because c'mon.... WW! It's a good bet then, that the Rebirth story line may be in MoS 2, which would allow Superman to then be in the next JL movie. I'm happy for it. Bring it on!

Why does only Optimus and a few now dead Autobots even slightly resemble their cartoon counterparts? And will Hot Rod be anything like his namesake!? I ask those questions not really expecting an answer, as it is clear Bay is making these for himself and not for us. One major reason why I am not giving him any more money...

I think that may have been me. I hit the Report button rather than the MultiQuote. but since I cancelled it, I assumed nothing happened with it. My apologies. Although, in 'our' defense it is right next to an often used 'button' and nearly invisible until the cursor gets to it.
