  1. I saw it today and I thought it was really good. I like ScarJo a lot which is always a plus. Visually, it was stunning. Story-wise, I thought it held together well from beginning to end. One thing I was noting was how she was walking, and it seemed odd at times, until I finally just figured it was her moving a bit stiffly in her android body. There was very little laxness in it, which I thought was fitting. As for the plot, I was really glad it didn't turn out to be her against her own team, and I like how they pulled together for her at the end. The guy playing Batou was really good and I was sorry to see the doctor die. I was really hoping there would be a scene with her mother near the end and I wasn't disappointed. My only draw backs would be that it should have been solely about a mission, and not her backstory, at least not in a first movie. I feel they should have waited until a sequel to uncover her history, to let the character solidify as a person trying to live in her own 'body.' But that was about it. And probably won't happen now if it is doing so poorly. Shame too, because I did like it a lot. And not just because Johanson is in that ultra-tight suit! I'll be buying this when it comes out!
  2. Great progress on that. Those always look so weird! I remember watching the first Nadia. Never saw the one with this ship. does it come with all the gear and electronics? And the squadron is certainly coming together! Which one is it?
  3. Loved it! Especially how creepy they made Ren. The little finger puppets had me dying! And it was down when I tried to watch it, so I watched a Reaction vid of it instead.
  4. 1/72 is not my scale (usually) but that Storch is looking pretty good. Lot of cool work going into it. Great image! Love it.
  5. It's actually brass! But gold was what i was looking for and it fits the looks just fine. As for brand, it's Model Master Brass laquer, non-buffing metalizer. For airbrush only, it says on the label.
  6. That is weird. I'd still like to see it, but I'd be disappointed if Ben Affleck or JK Simmons didn't have a role or cameo. It'd be like a film in a 'bubble...'
  7. Getting close now. Main paint is done, and just need to do little bits. The Aeber'carin and the Galla'heiren. And the UNCF Haruna, built on a used Garmillas ship hull.
  8. Hmmm, Snickers... Great work there PB! The others are right, it looks like a pre-crash ASS-1. I may have to steel this idea...
  9. Fantastic job on the Falcon! She looks ready for a fan-film!
  10. Getting some paint done.
  11. Couple of great builds. Fantastic!
  12. New on my bench... and
  13. Really hope this does turn out as great as this trailer promises. It looks like great fun. The visuals and action shots look awesome, and the interactions shown hopefully deepen and really become a solid core of the movie. Loved WW! All she did was sweep someone down and drop from on high, but that hair flip...
  14. Most welcome! That is one nice Strike Fighter ready to bounce some battle pods!
  15. LOL!! Microsoft on Macross! That arm display and mounting looks great PB. And cool work on the keyboard. It almost looks like it's been used.
  16. Got my preorder in! Bandai is getting a lot of money from me this year!
  17. Totally uninterested. If I watch it, it'll be on TV and because there is nothing else to watch that night.
