That's true. But look how long it took to get enemy mecha toys from just SDF Macross TV. If Delta gets their baddies too, great, but it'll probably take a while. I don't know why it's so hard to get figures of Macross bad guys. We need villains for our heroes!
-
Heh. Well, something in a reasonable scale would be fantastic. What scale was the old Takatoku SDF-1? I'd be happy with that, or something close to it.

Hey! Who's gonna be playing this game, and what are you playing it on? What kind of character build are you going to use? I'm getting it on PC. Small form factor rig: i7 5775C, 16GB RAM, GTX 980 Ti 6GB Superclocked, 256GB/1TB SSD/HDD. I actually took days off from work to play this. Thinking of going with an Intelligence/Agility build; faster leveling and harder to hit. How about you guys?

Oh yeah. I'd prolly buy a whole crew of Destroids, too. Always wanted a full squad. The Tomahawk is my favorite, I think. If Hi Metal R really takes off, I hope Bandai will give us a TV SDF-1. That'd be icing on an already amazing cake.
-
We would need Bandai to commit to making DX chogokin VF-1 Valkyries before they'd start thinking about Glaugs and Regults. So far the only DX VF-1 on the table is the monstrous 1/35 scale. I'd like to see a slightly smaller scale, personally.

It looked to me like they're planning to do pretty much everything that a Macross fan could want. Okay, maybe not everything but a lot. My list: Focker TV VF-1S Hikaru TV VF-1J Hikaru VF-1D Max TV VF-1A Max VF-1J Millia VF-1J Millia Queadlunn Rau Kakizaki TV VF-1A Glaug Regult x 2 VF-2SS w/SAP Here's hoping.

I'm going all in with Hi Metal R because of the lineup and pricing. Finally I'll have a shot at getting most of the pieces I've always wanted. Pricing is decent and with these it looks like they'll stand up to handling better than my more expensive ones that are more or less display pieces. Availability remains to be seen. I hope it won't be too hard to get these.

Looks like Bandai is out for blood.

This line seems to be much more affordable so I'd like to see it continue. I'd love to be able to get all of the TV Valks eventually. Destroids would be great, too.

All this news of stressed plastic and breakage is making me consider buying another VF-25S while they're still available.
-
Funny how we went from not being able to find a single one of these things (for a reasonable price), not even being able to place a friggin' preorder (sold out instantly) to "Anyone still want one?" Good times.
-
Wow, that's a great shot. The Renewal really does kick the old one in all kinds of uncomfortable places.

I feel your pain. Same happened to me.

All this talk about Play-Asia not coming through is starting to bother me. My order has been listed as "Preparing Order" and the item itself "Pending" for a few days now. I've contacted them and my credit card company. This had better not turn into a crapfest.
-
I haven't opened my Ozma yet, either. I'm just lazy. Still waiting on a tracking number from Play-Asia for the other one.
-
Yeah. Thanks so much for that; it helps me out a lot. I find it funny how Play-Asia has allowed some people to cancel their orders for this yet they wouldn't allow me to cancel mine. It's not like it's gonna be hard to sell off the cancelled units. Sheesh.
-
If anyone wants an Ozma Renewal, let me know. I have an extra one coming because I forgot to cancel one preorder.
-
I'd like it if the VF-1S head design was tweaked a little more and the insignia on the heatshield was lowered a bit. Otherwise these look great. I'm just hoping they're not comparable to the Yamato 1/60s, pricewise.
-
I have attempted this. Hopefully it works. Thank you.

Me too. Can't wait for it to get here!

Just got Kotobukiya's Bishoujo Starfire (Shunya Yamashita) from AmiAmi. She's probably my favorite out of all the Bishoujo figures I've got. Wonder Woman V1 is a close second. 1. Starfire 2. Wonder Woman V1 3. Christie Monteiro (Tekken) 4. Psylocke (X-Force) 5. Huntress 6. Rogue 7. Psylocke V1 (X-Men, first release) 8. Emma Frost 9. Mystique Kinda sucks that the Marvel ones changed scale right in the middle somewhere. At least they got bigger instead of smaller though. Also received Tsume Art's Ultra Street Fighter IV Chun Li a couple of weeks ago, from BigBadToyStore. Really dynamic and I love the blue whirlwind and stone-tiled base. The blue whirlwind is a fantastic contrast to Starfire's blazing orange hair whipping around her body, when you have the two figures side by side. I have to say, Tsume's Chun Li is the best that the character has ever looked in figure form. Outstanding!
