Couldn't you just buy Springer from TF, repaint him and then call it a day?

So the Cosmo-Reverser now has other effects as well? That's brilliant, IMO. I always questioned the fleet strength and Earth's revitalization back in the day...

Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2, in theaters May 5, 2017
myk replied to azrael's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
26 minutes into this movie and I feel like it's been 3 hours. They're trying SO hard to be SO funny and SO witty it's annoying. Personally, I hate comedies; the idea of people trying to be funny is just not funny to me. The banter and the dialogue between the characters is so forced and uninteresting that it reminds me of those Family Guy spoofs of Star Wars: completely lame. I know many people find Guardians to be a riot but, not me. I can't bring myself to care about a bunch of boring misfits who have nothing of interest to say to one another or to do for the galaxy. I think the best part of the 26 minutes I've watched involved Kurt Russell cruising in his Mustang, tops open with his woman by his side. The rest of the 26 minutes? Well, at least I have something to help me go to sleep at night, now..- 115 replies

Lol I don't see it that way. I actually enjoyed Robotech and I see nothing wrong with the Harmony Gold effort inside of their bastardized Robotech trilogy, which is why End of the Circle and the Sentinels series before it was an entertaining read for me...

No one will die. They'll stick with the harmless comic book/WWE violence and fighting we've come to know this series for... -

The movie was so bland, vague and pointless to me that I found it almost unwatchable. If I wasn't already a fan of WW2 stuff and didn't already know what Dunkirk was about, like your typical movie watcher would be, I wouldn've been lost in that theater. The key to making any story worthwhile is to allow your characters, your story, to reach out and connect with your audience. Does anyone here remember any of the character's names in the movie? Were there even any names? The movie was two hours of nameless, faceless war that basically said nothing other than "war is bad." Without characters and personalities to connect and identify with, the movie was just a collection of war footage. I'm truly disappointed in Nolan; he should've gone back and watched Platoon, Saving Private Ryan and maybe even Hamburger Hill to figure out how to draw in your audience and get them to personally care about what is happening on screen. I remember some people were crying in the theater during Platoon and 'Private Ryan; there was NO emotional response at all during Dunkirk because....who are these people? What are they doing? How or why am I supposed to care? Nameless, faceless, pointless movie with a weakly delivered message...

So, any of you guys remember your PS3/PSP days? If so, I'm hoping you can help me out. I just got my hands on a PSP and just the other day I bought and downloaded three games to my PS3, which I then copied over to my PSP. I bought Sega Genesis collection today, downloaded it to my PS3 and then tried to move it to the PSP, but I got a message saying there was a copying error, #80029725. I tried looking up that error code but didn't see anything. What's even stranger is that trying to re-download all of the other games that I had successfully downloaded and copied just a few days ago get the same copy error code that I listed above. I don't understand what could've changed from a couple of days ago to now, where I suddenly can't copy files I've downloaded through the store. In case you're wondering, my PSP is a 3000 model that is not running custom firmware; it is all stock. Thanks in advance guys...

That's what I liked about the '99 mold: a more streamlined and in my eyes, a more aggressive looking ship. I like a little bit of thickness, but only on girls. I need my vehicles to be lean, mean, fighting machines...

Impressive, but with a cast that big the characters we know and love will get lost in a giant soup bowl of personalities... -
