    VF's only? That's too bad as I've always been a fan of the YF-21 and 19; strange as it sounds, I didn't like their formal VF versions as much. Favorite VF's would then be the 1 and the Zero; the other designs outside of the original Macross and Zero never caught on with me for some reason...

    Yes, I bought my sister a copy of 'Rises but she doesn't have blu-ray, and it's disappointing that the dvd version only has one featurette. At the very least, they should've put in the Batmobile documentary, not that Bruce Wayne thingy...

    Are we talking on a personal level or as an anime-based community? Plenty of ground breaking movies like Dark Knight Rises, Avengers and the Hobbit, to name a few. Then there was Yamato 2199, which has to be one of the greatest reboots in ANY genre, as far as I'm concerned. Not into games or music anymore so I can't comment on that; I spent most of the year working so the year kinda passed me by. Remind me of what I missed, guys!

    That DYRL clip gets me every time. Yes, the other girls of 2199 are hot but I can only handle so much fan service so I focus on Yuki, ha ha. Hey...was it me or was there a..."fat" chick in the background in one of the new episodes-I think it's the one where they were having a party celebrating the departure from the solar system?

    I remember debates in 1997 about lens flare when the racing game Automobili Lamborghini came out for the N64-I liked it! I like it in 'Trek too!

    Wow, serious trailer is serious. I didn't see that one during the Hobbit though, but I'm definitely interested in seeing this version of Trek take a much more dramatic turn in story...
