  1. I'm hardly a third of the way into Isolation, but I have to say that from a personal standpoint I don't "like" it. I get the impression that I'm going to spend the entirety, not the majority, but the ENTIRETY of the game hiding, sneaking around and just generally being helpless. I wish they could've balanced the game like, let's say Metal Gear Solid, where in order to succeed you have to balance a limited inventory along with stealh and strategy, yet ultimately having to conquer and vanquish your enemies. In Isolation, it seems as if ANY confrontation of any sort will lead to your death or a near-complete depletion of your wares, which will lead to your death. Now, I'm not suggesting that this game should be a run and gun like the previous Alien games or like Contra, however the player should have a genuine choice between taking on enemies or fleeing; in Isolation it feels as if the only thing to EVER do is to run and hide....
  2. NICE comeback for the series, and for Rick the character, especially. Why was Rosita wearing layers of clothing and not walking around practically naked like last season? Because of that, I give this episode an F...
  3. The idea of a recap movie sounds like an injustice to this beautiful series anyway...
  4. I like to think of the Isolation discussion as the virtual chest-burster exploding out of the dying carcass of the original host/discussion...
  5. Dude I can hear it BREATHING. I don't think I'm going to be able to play this anymore lol...
  6. I've just barely stepped onto the space station and I'm already freaked the f**k out. I had to turn it off...
  7. The Japanese give us blu ray players, drifting, Macross, Transformers and tentacle sex. America in turn gives them David Hasselhoff. Where is the justice?
  8. A game should be random and as unpredictable as it can be, especially in this day and age. If not, we could pull out our NES', blow off the contacts of Contra and happily play away to patterns we've memorized for eternity. What I DON'T like about this game that I've heard of is
  9. As much as I rail and complain about this movie I agree with your assessment of it. I've been watching it steadily since it's home release...
  10. Whew! All of those tears of boredom shed during one of the most incomprehensible, uninteresting and pointless movies has left me depleted and completely dehydrated. I'd throw my Masterpiece Skywarp against the wall for the loss of two, three, four hours of my life watching this drivel but I'm too tired to do it....
  11. Wait, are you saying that Yurisha is a show exclusive?
  12. See, I said it was the hair...
  13. It's the hair....
  14. Anyone see this? After experiencing cinematic, story-telling masterpieces like Nolan's Dark Knight movies, that arguably represent the epitome of the Batman story, you can't help but be completely under-whelmed by this uninspiring tale of empty characters and a plodding story that goes NOWHERE without the caped crusader. And on that note, what we have is a dull police/crime/drama story, as if we don't already have endless shows of that nature already on t.v.; but at least I can regard them as minutely interesting! I'd rather waste my time watching the completely bored, tired and lack-luster final seasons of the CSI Vegas and Miami series than spend another minute on this meaningless crime-drama with the Gotham nametag. Like someone else in this thread previously stated, Batman without Batman isn't the least bit enticing. Now..time to turn off the cable box and reach for one of the Dark Knight movies-ANY of them...
  15. Lol. One of my greatest disappointments of all time...
  16. Oh for sure, based on that posted bit there's a sequel in the works. However, at this point I have to blame the people that have financially supported this garbage...
  17. I don't think Hunger Games or any other "girl power" movie has anything to do with sex-ploitation movies, rather the well of creativity is dry and done. Sex will always sell though, and the dull and bored public will always pay good money to see powerfully sexy girls doing powerful things very powerfully...
  18. The whole project is a compost heap anyway, so there's nothing wrong with adding a little more B.S. to the pile. I'm still waiting for the Care Bears and Jem & the Holograms to make a guest appearance...
