  1. I love Top Secret. Those weekend soccer matches were murder, lol. Not sure about the Wolf part; it was sloppy to me so I didn't understand what they were trying to do with him. Oh and yeah, I love how the Walking Dead will NOT play back on my DVR; damn the cable companies...
  2. True. Well, I hope there's at least one occasion where Hiss/Nanny takes Alura over her knee and spanks her ass repeatedly until it's red, while the men stand around in a circle and laugh tauntingly while Alura cries and begs for it to stop, just like they used to do in Voltron/GoLion. I love homages to original works...
  3. No token Asian or black team member? No gender swap of at least one character? Where's the fat guy? Why so serious? I'm genuinely disappointed...
  4. Trying to make sense of Evangelion 3.33. I keep having to stop and take anti-motion sickness 'meds, due to the crazy animation sequences but I'm glad 3.33 is finally in my hands...
  5. When Fight the Future debuted in 1999 (?) I had to endure Scully's well worn speech about how Mulder was a wide eyed conspiracy chaser, while she was the logical voice of reason sent to keep him in check. 16 years later we're getting the same rhetoric and the same 'old story: Mulder chasing Martian men while Scully laughably rolls her eyes in contempt and disbelief in the opposite side of the room. After decades of running with Mulder has she not been able to either see the light of Mulder's cause, OR sensibly run away from it? As I remember it, Scully was at the center of many of the subplots that Mulder encountered, but I guess she just has to remain the eternal skeptic. The point I'm trying to make is that we've done the X Files dance one time too many. I was all about the series back in the day but it's time has passed. The characters can't or won't grow out of their belief systems. If they did, I could imagine the show would be rather boring. Why can't we just let the X Files RIP in the history of its former success?
  6. Repaint. The delicious fantasy of a busty blond beauty being ravaged by tentacles is hot. The fantasy of a busty blond beauty with a tan being ravaged by tentacles is even hotter...
  7. OK fine, no cast off, just naked, period...
  8. I renounced my Filipino heritage a long time ago. I can't stand the food...
  9. I think your sig quote says it best... I think your sig quote says it best...
  10. Thank you. Ignorantly, and illogically, I have to wonder why science hasn't beaten this thing yet...
  11. Ouch. I liked his style. My mom lost to cancer at 53, my dad at 48. F@@k you cancer...
  12. Similar situation here; the only combiner I had back then was Voltron...
  13. Use them both...
  14. The end game for the story is capturing the plans for the Death Star, which feels completely underwhelming to me. What other stories are they planning to tell with Star Wars "Plus?"
  15. It's still cheaper than cars and motorcycles...
  16. Killing your father or anyone else doesn't equate to courage. Murder is not synonymous with bravery. Actually, I think it could be just as much an act of cowardice...
  17. Thanks for the heads up on the Queens Blade figure; who doesn't love tentacle anime...
  18. There were MAYBE three movies that at the very least didn't annoy me completely, and at best I found memorable and worthy of mention: Creed, MI5, and Ex Machina. I resent the idea that if I don't nut all over myself for movies like Episode 7, Mad Max and Spectre that I'm somehow a damaged adult, incapable of making sound decisions; most of the stuff I was exposed to or heard about this year evoked nothing from me. This isn't to say that I think my opinions or anyone else's should be taken as gospel; it's just an opinion...
  19. Double Impact...
  20. I'm either getting too old to remember what I saw this year, or it was just a mediocre year for movies, relative to me. In any case, I agree with you on Mad Max; I just couldn't get behind it...
  21. Good looks skip a generation. Typically if the parents are cute then the offspring tend to be ugly. However, I think Kylo Ren, like Anakin before him, will appeal to people today. Dark, brooding, emotional, hates everyone, cries; you know the drill...
