  1. I don't get the Carol story arc at all. For a fat chick, I thought Denise was sorta cute. Still alot of WTF moments but this episode still delivered. Please put Rosita back into her sexy two piece camouflage outfit by LL Bean...
  2. Someone showed that international trailer to me and I thought it was a joke; yeah I think it looks that bad. So is this the latest fad in Hollywood? Instead of just reimagining old films and franchises like Star Trek and Mad Max, we're going to crap all over them and then slap their historical greatness in the face with garbage like this? And I don't care if this is a reboot or a sequel; it's just BAD. This makes Ghostbusters II look like a freakin masterpiece of film and theater...
  3. They never really were, IMO. I think there was just a mutual admiration and love. That Alicia Witt sure does clean up nicely, though...
  4. I wouldn't mind a larger Andromeda; I think 40% larger would be good, but I don't want it over designed with a two tone paint job, spinning chrome wheels and bristling with gun turrets and wave guns everywhere like a space borne porcupine. Like boobs on a woman, bigger is always better, but any more than two is overkill IMO. And any minute now people are going to start posting about the three boobed chick from Total Recall, and you know what, less is still more...
  5. Agreed. The ideal Andromeda update will stay close to the original design, but with subtle...SUBTLE updates to make it more likely to be the flagship of the EDF...
  6. Plenty of eye rolling on my end. Yeah sure, let's just decide to assault a target with little to no inteligence on it. Oh and yeah, let's bring whats-her-face so that she could clearly be used as an emotionally based plot device/hostage in the next episode; didn't see that one coming! Don't get me wrong though, I'm still a fan. Oh and by the way, you look at the group now and you compare Shane's belief of "survival of the fittest, strongest, and most daring" you see that he was ALWAYS right...
  7. Is that Buzz Lightyear in the upper right?
  8. That combined mode looks ridiculous; it looks like the Tonka/my first combiner edition for kids 3 to 7. What's up with the frowny face? Is Golion sad or something? I will say that the individual lions look interesting, along with the promise of ultimate poseability. Now, I'll be able to arrange them like Ritsuko would in Evangelion on top of my computer in various cutesy poses...
  9. I draw the line at 1/5. Any bigger and it's better just to call an escort service...
  10. Eh, you could say the show did that after season 1. I think any place like that will be one of the first places to be destroyed/ransacked/whatever by the desperate masses. I live right up the street from one and if anything on that magnitude came to be that's probably where I'd head; grab some supplies and maybe a cute cashier for comfort and then see what happens...
  11. It's an invitation or a suggestion for penetration; a forbidden vulnerability that begs to be violated, or something. Exciting, really...
  12. LOL. That my friend, is what dreams are made of. Well, mine anyway...
  13. I thought it would be an unbearable movie because it would be trying too hard to be the anti-Marvel, "this is Deadpool" movie. This movie was both of those things but came off well with me; definitely enjoyed it. One thing that does confuse me is the absence of the rampant nudity and endless violence that everyone is claiming this movie features. I think I saw as much nudity in American Pie, and more violence in John Wick. In any case, I'll probably watch it again, as it just struck the right chord with me. Or, is it Morena Baccarrin I just want to see again?
  14. No, it's not the same guy...
  15. I love Top Secret. Those weekend soccer matches were murder, lol. Not sure about the Wolf part; it was sloppy to me so I didn't understand what they were trying to do with him. Oh and yeah, I love how the Walking Dead will NOT play back on my DVR; damn the cable companies...
  16. True. Well, I hope there's at least one occasion where Hiss/Nanny takes Alura over her knee and spanks her ass repeatedly until it's red, while the men stand around in a circle and laugh tauntingly while Alura cries and begs for it to stop, just like they used to do in Voltron/GoLion. I love homages to original works...
  17. No token Asian or black team member? No gender swap of at least one character? Where's the fat guy? Why so serious? I'm genuinely disappointed...
  18. Trying to make sense of Evangelion 3.33. I keep having to stop and take anti-motion sickness 'meds, due to the crazy animation sequences but I'm glad 3.33 is finally in my hands...
  19. When Fight the Future debuted in 1999 (?) I had to endure Scully's well worn speech about how Mulder was a wide eyed conspiracy chaser, while she was the logical voice of reason sent to keep him in check. 16 years later we're getting the same rhetoric and the same 'old story: Mulder chasing Martian men while Scully laughably rolls her eyes in contempt and disbelief in the opposite side of the room. After decades of running with Mulder has she not been able to either see the light of Mulder's cause, OR sensibly run away from it? As I remember it, Scully was at the center of many of the subplots that Mulder encountered, but I guess she just has to remain the eternal skeptic. The point I'm trying to make is that we've done the X Files dance one time too many. I was all about the series back in the day but it's time has passed. The characters can't or won't grow out of their belief systems. If they did, I could imagine the show would be rather boring. Why can't we just let the X Files RIP in the history of its former success?
