Most leaders, especially the good ones, are seen that way. -A1 is obviously on the brash side, however I've read enough of his posts when he's actually contributing to the topic at hand, where his maturity and intelligence displays itself. If he were to be asked to "step up to the plate," and become a 'Mod or an 'Admin, I know that his behavior would change accordingly. Ultimately, you won't find him any more disconcerting than any of the other 'Mods or 'Admins...Fortunately, I happen to think that they're all great folks anyway...

I strongly disliked the Matthew Brodderick Godzilla movie for the same reason. Both Godzilla and 'Kong were supposed to be nightmare creatures of a magnitude you can't begin to understand. In these revisions/remakes, they tone that down so that the monsters are less monstrous and more like freaks of nature. Bleah...

I've got that middle version, also. The subbing is very bad in some parts, but the most unfortunate aspect of the set is the lack of subbing for the specials-watching the Twin Blood episodes made the expense of the dvd set worth it, at least from my point of vew, but no subbing lessens the experience. I'm assuming that the other two versions have the specials with subbing?

That's really sharp. Of all the cars you could steal, a red Ford GT would be the one to go for. What would you do with a car like that anyway? Sell it for parts? Put it on the 'Bay? Keep it in a garage? Hope that no one notices you driving it to Vons as you buy groceries? This was more than an intended joyride as, according to the news report, the theives went through quite an experience in order to free the car. Someone needs to put away their copies of GTA and Gone in 60 seconds...

I dig the new 'Charger; didn't at first, but at recent dealer-attended car shows I got a chance to ride in a new 'Daytona and....it's nice. Ride, power, refinement...sure it doesn't look anything like "my" Charger, but the expectation for Chrysler, or even Pontiac to retro-design yet another new car isn't logical for them. On Speed t.v. last weekend they had a 1/2 hour track run of the new SRT8 Charger and it was impressive... The concept Challenger is supposed to take on the new 'Stang, but that's not going to be available 'til '07 or so? We'll all be dead by then...

Unlike MI2, as long as they can keep John Woo's trademark gun-in-each-hand, hyper-martial arts choreography and gonzo action sequences to a minimum or excluded from this film altogether, it should be fine...
