I want off....
-
I had always thought that the GS-X would be the better car, but local ricers told me that the GS-T was quicker because of the simpler drivetrain, and less expensive to maintain because of....the simpler drivetrain. Well, they also told me to stick to Detroit Muscle, so what do they know...

You have back-ups of Thrill Kill? Considering the celebration of pointless violence in today's video game/entertainment world Thrill Kill would fit in just perfectly-they should try and release it again...

*blocks* I always thought Radiant Silvergun had started out as an arcade machine before it hit the Saturn, which is why I had searched for those ROMS-I should have been more specific. I don't have any plans to use any Saturn-emulated games asides from 'Radiant. Either way, I just want a chance to play it and confirm that I like it before I make the plunge and buy the Saturn game at it's very high price. I always obtain the retail version of software whether it's games, music, etc. I do feel improper about using pirated software, which is why the only ROMS I have are for games that I already own, as trying to dig out that Genesis/SEGA CD2/32X contraption out of a closet just to play Corpse Killers is too much for me.

Pre-painted Cutaway Space Battleship Yamato
myk replied to David Hingtgen's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah? Do the components fit well together? The fact that you have to assemble it makes me think that there may be some issues with pieces that just don't go together properly... -
I've always assumed that the Cylon-human models were patterned after existing humans; what better method would there be to emulating a human than by copying one directly. -I hope that the anti-spoiler people stay away from this thread for a while...

Pre-painted Cutaway Space Battleship Yamato

I've only found them on the 'Bay. Here's an example: History for sale. So, they appear to be going anywhere from $50 to $80 US... -

Allelujiah! My heart is soaring! This is even more stimulating than my suspicions about BattleStar Galactica being confirmed! -I noticed on the 'Bay also, that complete ships are being sold as opposed to just random boxes... -
RRRRRRRRRRR....Eb can keep my copy then. No A1=no good thread. No Hitomi with pokey nipples=no good game/fan service calendar. Yeah sure Mike, I'll meet you online, considering I can't even pull off a PPP>PK without screwing it up it'll be real fun I'm sure, lol. -I'm glad that you agree that this edition is more challenging. For a moment there, I thought that maybe I was getting too old. Speaking of costumes, there is an insane amount of them per character, about 4 each on the average... -At the very least, Hitomi is for the most part, naked in her ending...
-
Psh...I KNEW IT-I even said as much before this thread got beyond it's infancy. Hell, this was even revealed in season 1, although not so obviously. -Yeah, I seriously don't recommend that any of you go to that site if you don't want anything to be prematurely revealed to you...

I still have my SEGA CD2 as well, along with my Jaguar, Saturn, etc. Now...if I could only find the working ROM "images" of Radiant Silvergun-that game sells for as much as Valkyrie Profile... -Damn...I just realized that I no longer have the box or the booklet to my copy of 'Scrambled...DAMN!!
-
Why would they pull a popular program off of the listing? Maybe FRAK has worn out its innocence...
-
Which is too bad, as the original Underworld had such high hopes for it. Hopefully, the sequel will prove to be a better view, allowing us to actually care about the characters and their war with the other side...

Hmm...I always assumed that the Eclipse was RWD; silly me, although that does paint a very big mark against it in my book. As for driver comfort, being 5'-4" means that I can get behind the wheel of a micro-machine and still be comfortable. It's strange though-I've seen anyone that's taller than me, trying to get into the driver's seat of either my Camaro, Mustang or Charger and noticed how akward and uncomfortable it is for them. Do they build them like this on purpose? The rumor stating that short people design cars may be true after all...

Pre-painted Cutaway Space Battleship Yamato
myk replied to David Hingtgen's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I'm starting to see that ship popping up on the 'Bay. At 15 inches or so I'm actually thinking of getting one myself, as the SOC thingy is too steep dollar-wise for me. If anyone comes out with the Andromeda however, I'll pick it up regardless of the cost. -I can't believe that anyone would want to try their luck buying the randomly packed pieces though; knowing my luck, I'd buy an 8 piece set of the ass on that ship.,.. -
LOL. Well, then you can imagine my frustration as mashing doesn't get you very far in DOA 4 either. I'm convinced that if you win at all doing that it's because the AI is throwing the match. I'm a casual DOA fan, and didn't really play the game much since it's version on the Dreamcast 100 years ago, but I'm told that even veterans of the series will have to re-learn everything. Tecmo wasn't kidding when they stated that this edition would require technique and mastery above all else. As for sparring mode, it should have a setting that allows the sparring partner to have some sort of free will as opposed to just standing there or doing one move or two at a time. It's not authentic to just peck at a witless target, but at the same time trying to practice with the 1 on 1 versus mode is too difficult; on the lowest setting the AI fighter is all over you from the start...
-
OoooooK....I guess I'd have to say that Hitomi's ending was cute, if not totally wierd. Apparently, off the wall storylines and endings are also another feature in this DOA. -Considering the relatively steep learning curve, number of moves available per character and the increased difficulty, I find myself actually mashing buttons myself...
-
I can't believe it hasn't sold yet...
-
I had heard that increased difficulty was one of the features of this DOA, to get rid of all the button masher champions. For example, my girl Hitomi has 81 attacks in her moves list-how the hell is someone supposed to learn those techniques and their applications, not to mention the rest of the DOA roster? I long for the days of SK SK SP Super-Hadoken. I must say that the game is beautiful though... What Tecmo did with that calendar was inexcusable. At the very least, they could have offered an "M" rated version online, or something. Asides from the PS3 and the like, I will never pre-order anything again...
-
Yeah...Thanks Games-Boutique, for not calling me either. Fortunately, the free calendar that I was salivating for with the preorder contains nothing but HEADSHOTS of the characters, so I'm just going over to the local Target and picking up a copy there.

'Scrambled is a good game. Even after all of these years it's still one of my favorites....

Here's for not paying attention as the years pass on...

Well, I was told that Spielberg was trying to "walk the line" between the two forces, not taking sides. I've never believed in neutrality or impartiality, so I'm going to have to see how this is handled. As for heroes and terrorists, they're the same thing. People who are offended by Spielberg's attempt to humanize terrorists are clueless, ignorant. One country's hero is another country's terrorist, and vice versa. It's amusing to see how one group of people can feel so righteous about their own group while demonishing another...

I guess I should probably axe my plans to buy a '97 or so GS-T...
-
I was hoping that some of you guys would see it first, then post a review about it. If the movie is indeed an impartial take on the mess that occurred in that time period then I'll give it a shot.
