Aw, that sucks. Does the lack of diecast detract from the toy at all?

Well, if Brosnan's not happy with the script there's not much more to be said on that. As for Stewart, it's a shame to hear that he is rather "unpleasant." I guess he really knows how to work in front of the camera, as every interview that I've seen him in portrays him as a jolly 'ol English fellow who you'd wanna' tea-up with; he seems like such a likeable guy... I worked at the San Diego 'Con in '98, and had the distinct privelage of helping Walter Koenig check into the grounds. The hatred that he felt for the entire occasion was as plain as the nose on his face. When I asked him for his autograph, he replied by saying, "Oh God, why the hell not." He rolled his eyes, scribbled on my program guide and stomped off. His wide eyed assistant just smiled, tried to apologize and scampered after him. What is it with these guys anyway? Talk about biting the hand that not only feeds you but makes you, too...

I've been thinking along the same lines. The older versions look beefier and I appreciate that, nevermind that when it came to poseability, merely standing up straight was a challenge sometimes. Looks like the arguments that developed for the Valkyries, Chunky old vs. Yamato new, would apply to the Voltrons as well. I like the poseability of the MP Voltron but I'm sure there's an issue of less durability and playability. With the older toy, you could drop it, transform it, whatever, just don't expect it to pose anything other than waving goodbye... As for vehicle Voltron, wouldn't any bias against it be from the "Go Lion" group of fans? I would hope that American fans would appreciate a new rendering of vehicle Voltron, and maybe that odd Voltron II as well...

I played the 'Cube version of MGS, and I can't seem to remember if they upped the IQ on the AI, or not. What I can remember is all of the "extreme" action video sequences, with Snake jumping in between missiles, kicking them away, etc...

The rig itself is also rather expensive, isn't it?

Regardless of the success it usually brings, don't actors dislike being "typecast" anyway? Isn't that the reason why Pierce Brosnan no longer wants to play Bond, for example?

Ah, everybody goes through phases, especially the car one. At some point in our lives we end up losing interest in whatever and move on to the next thing...

I want that statue...

I oughta' try and get my car on that show-what do I have to lose? I wouldn't ever dream of selling it, Foose'd or not...

Huh?! Who's footprints are these?!

Wow, Rob. Exactly how much stuff are we talking about here?

How the heck did 'ja manage that? I'm out for 2 months and I'm already thinking about digging through trash for aluminum and glass containers...

She's Elin Grindemyr-a sweet little model out of Sweden, of course. Despite being topless, she hasn't had much "exposure" in mainstream media. Click on the link below my 'sig for a Google search on her...

All of this talk has convinced me to stop buying toys altogether, for a while at least. I haven't even caught up with my personal wish list yet, which included the '48 CF, reissue '1S and VB-6 among other things. That Mechanic File Space Cruiser Yamato will have to wait too.

Umm...Someone help me, please.... Pfunk would've been the perfect candidate for 'Foose, then. Heck, I would be too, although I can't imagine how I would end up paying for the taxes at the end of the year...

I'm starting to think that Chloe's kinda' cute.

Oh man. Reading that auction almost brought me to tears. It's obvious how much you care for that car. I hope....that everything works out for the both of you. -How do gigs like 'Foose or 'Pimp select their cars, anyway?
-
Oh man, I'm moving on to the next hour as of now-this IS intense; I'd rather be running a track course...

What about your CTU pom-poms?

Wow. That is one cool site, thanks for the link. There's a wealth of information in there...

That statue beats most of my G-Taste stuff...

I never bitch about gas prices. I always "laugh that topic off," just as you quoted me as saying. Gas will cost what it will cost us and there is no point in arguing the finer points of it. I don't even care about the excuses, it's just that the other day, when one of my cool cars came up in conversation, someone tried to start rattling off about gas prices but I "laughed it off." I was trying to remember what they were telling me because it had something to do with Iran, nuclear weaopns, or whatever...

Yes it was. So let's see if I've got this: rotoscoping involves drawing over pre-existing live footage? For example, since the original He-Man cartoons were rotoscoped, does that mean there was a live action representation of those episodes, that was then drawn over?

Damn. Wasn't it just yesterday that people spoke of moving out to places such as Arizona and Texas to get "affordable" housing. Suddenly, it's no longer the case...

Heh. Yeah, I can't believe I forgot about that. And some of them are just sooo willing, too. I don't know, when I consider having to deal with drunken bastards and illegal immigrants with attitude even the sweet hostesses and waitresses fail to medicate me enough... As for other members in this board, I'm positive there is at least 1 person practicing Medicine and another Law, somewhere; there names escape me though...
