I'll take care of that... There are no heroes in the Macross universe. With all of the destruction and loss of life that ensued, whether in DYRL or the t.v. series, I fail to recognize any sort of victory or other cause to celebrate. Are we talking about the toys, or the anime vehicles themselves? If we're talking about toys, then what generations? If we're talking about 1/55 Bandai/Taka Macross, those toys are markedly sturdier than their Gakken-Legioss counterparts in that era. If we're in fact comparing 1/48 Yamato and MP Robotech, the durability would probably go to the MP's, but not the fit and finish though...

I always liked the GTP, Gran Prix, etc. I would love it if it were RWD. As for option packages, isn't that the manufacturer's way of forcing buyers to purchase more equipment, whether they want it or not? Then again, some of the option groupings just don't make sense. For example, on my '97 Z28, body colored side mirrors are standard whether I liked it or not, because convertibles automatically came with that option. (?!)

I'm in the same situation myself. After receiving my replacement console I just haven't spent much time with it; PGR3 and NFS are prime examples of games I just dropped, for no apparent reason. I had a feeling that online play, especially with DOA4, would be unsatisfactory, and is one of the reasons I stopped playing BF2, although that's another platform. Isn't there some sort of "class" rating that hopefully pits similairly skilled players against each other on 'Live? Somehow I get the feeling that doesn't work as planned either. Have you gotten the patch for the system, yet?

Well, at some point they're going to have a "focal" episode on the majority of the characters, this evening's belonged to Starbuck. I enjoy these focal episodes as they're finally showing greater depth into the characters, giving us something more to think about other than just being "the Admiral's son, the hotshot pilot, etc." Kat's character was cliched, and ultimately proved more annoying than I originally decided. I'm just glad that the MK7 is getting more screen time-they need to retire the MK2 along with Dirk Benedict...

What about Vasquez? She comes with an M56 Smartgun, for crying out loud..
