  1. There's no way to know what gains we're acutally seeing without a 'dyno. I asked my landlord if I could install one in the carport, but she said no. The only car I have with any sort of modification done is my '69 Charger, and that's all superficial stuff (intake/exhaust). Believe it or not though, I swear I felt a difference after I installed the K&N filter on it... As for the GTO, screw any and all of its critics. It's a 'fab platform with an even more fabulous drivetrain. If I had the money of a big league baller I'd definitely buy a few...
  2. Bah. Most people wouldn't know what to do with their cars if their lives depended on it. Of course, I suppose being completely ignorant is better than what I usually do, which is trying to fix/upgrade something, only to damage the car only further and having to seek professional help, lol... Skip the GTO, you're strictly blue oval and you know it!
  3. "WTF is this?!" indeed...
  4. Just seems to me that these people must have been traveling at freeway speeds, and then for one reason or another YANKED the steering wheel in one direction or the other, kinda' like the way the Terminator did with that semi in T2. -This is really discouraging. I was going to head to an empty parking lot and see if I could drift/slide one of my cars tomorrow...
  5. A car that light would mean death for alot of drivers out there. Speaking of which, I saw a rolled 'Mini on the freeway the other day. Actually, I've seen quite a few rolled cars on the freeways as of late. I have to wonder what these people are doing to wind up in those situations...
  6. Now that's how you spell "yummy...."
  7. That's not necessarily a bad thing...... 369735[/snapback] I hear you. I can't keep up with all of the "mandatory purchasing" as of late...
  8. April, although now that I've mentioned it we'll be jinxed and get it later...
  9. Maybe that whole Earth thing was one of the "mistakes" that the producers of the show had mentioned some time ago. Well, there's only so much they can say or progress on the Cylon threat without the series coming to a quick close, so I suppose we're just seeing the obligatory filler episodes. Nevertheless, I share the same feeling as you that the series has lost any sense of direction for the moment...
  10. How do the benefits where you're working now compare to the government's?
  11. They didn't examine her, but the terrorists did take a few moments to reflect and contemplate what they were seeing before them-more than enough time for a TX-type chick to wreak havoc. I know that Boomer wouldn't have allowed herself to be placed in danger; at the same time, Adama would in no way endanger his "military asset," I had just wished it had turned out that way-at the very least Sharon Valeri could have counted yet another time that she saved the day... Hmm...Death Hammer, if you're speculation on next week's episode is correct, BSG may be jumping the shark as we speak...
  12. That's a unique idea. Maybe you could rig one of its weapons or arms to activate a lamp nearby, or something...
  13. Aw hell. 24 had their "Die Hard" episode, so I guess BSG had to follow suit. I think it would've been easier to have sent in the living Boomer. As the hostage takers were examining her inert form, Boomer could have lashed out with her Cylon reflexes and killed all of those bad people. Then again, Boomer's a military asset who's pregnant, so I guess it was easier to just sacrifice poor Billy. I laughed my ass off watching the med team rush around Lee as the last few seconds of life ebbed from Billy. Let's have a round of applause for my boy Lee Adama, Mr. Indestructible!
  14. Predaking may be sturdy, but he isn't nearly as poseable as the MPC Voltron... Hmm...the fantasy wheels in my head are turning: Voltron versus Predaking..
  15. GASP! 'Jsar, your avatar frightened me!
  16. Maybe it's the BSG equivalent of a pitot tube?
  17. Pin it!
  18. Can you imagine what that's going to be like? You know they're going to do it-they have to. -And we thought the GBP set for the VF-1 was exciting...
  19. Tokyo Toy Fair 2002...Thanks for the 'pics and the revival of good memories for most of us...
  20. Can't say anything positive about the looks, but jeez the 'specs on that thing....
  21. Lol....Such restraint...
  22. VF-1 versus Legioss? The victor would depend on the pilot...
  23. Let's see some 'Plus or 'Zero 12" please...
  24. Lol...How do you go from Leo 'Caprio to Eddie Murphy?!
