However, she realizes that the people have chosen this planet-side fate; what choice does she have other than returning to the profession that she truly loves, which is teaching children. If these idiots ever manage to get off of the planet, Baltar will be quickly removed from office (I hope), and Roslyn shouldn't be too far from taking her old office back...

Normally I'd run with the Vehicle Voltron/sci-fi theme, but this time I'll have to go with the Lions. V3 had a bit of sci-fi and fantasy thrown in, as this time you had space pilots who had to go to some distant planet, behind enemy lines, to find some uber-powerful robot that may or may not exist. Add in the castle and other medieval-esque themes on a beautiful planet, combined with some hot, virginial princess who's just waiting for the right group of guys to come along and save her royal ass and you've got a unique sense of adventure that just doesn't exist in V1's story line...

You mean an explosion as the very final event happening in the picture? How about From Beyond? The last thing we see is either Barbara Crampton laughing due to insanity, or her character being submitted into a mental institution-I forget...

Even Harlem might seem like paradise-who knows, I sure as heck don't know. In regards to Starbuck, I think that she, Sanders and 'Kat should all get together and live as a happy threesome. Finally, I agree with the possibility of the survivor's lives being better under Cylon rule. After all, they obviously couldn't make decisions in their best interest even in the face of a pending Cylon attack at any given moment before their settlement, so these people need some sort of guidance-what better than the way of the machine?

Rigging the election would have been in the best interests of the survivors. I so desperately wished that the conspirators had pulled that off. If Roslyn had won and had her way, they would still be on the run but at least be out from under Cylon tyranny. I look at this episode as another political statement/philosophy which states that mankind is incapable of governing itself or choosing in its own, best interests. Hail to the ultimate power of government over you! LOL. Now, after all they've been through, the survivors have finally become the pets of the Cylons. Losers!!!

Well, I love how Gaius ends up being responsible for the defeat of mankind yet AGAIN! What a great way to remind us of his original treachery. I find it odd though, that Adama would suddenly just acquiesce to the demands of President Baltar, considering he spent the majority of season 1 challenging Roslyn at every possible turn. I really don't see how mankind is going to pull out of this one. The only possibility is that the rumored fraction of Cylons seeking peaceful co-existence end up supporting a human resistance of some sort. I was actually moved by the scene that took place between Cally and Tyrol at the beginning. You gotta' love a girl that takes a beating from you and keeps on fraking you-HAAAA!!!! Ultimately, the best thing I loved about this particular episode is that someone finally got to pork that sweet little Cally-lol...

I don't see why we have to have that explanation at all. A malignant, alien force has come in great numbers to besiege the Earth. It doesn't matter if our lead spaceship is an import or a domestic. And since when does a malignant, alien warrior force need a reason to attack a planet? Finally, in DYRL Earth was mentioned to have been bombarded by the attacking fleet sometime during the SDF-1's narrow escape. DYRL is the abridged and slightly modified version of the television series and isn't meant to replace it. Alot of questions and issues get left out when you only have 2 hours to tell your tale. Ultimately, this comes down to personal preference. I like the look, feel and pace of DYRL. It's got so much style it KILLS me...

I (shamefully) downloaded mame32 from romnation. Asides from unpacking a few files and installing the program, I was actually able to just click on the mame32 arcade machine icon which brought up the available/unavailable game menu. From that point it's merely a matter of downloading game roms into the main rom folder and then activating the program...

I figured it was generally agreed that if fanboy-ism exists it does so with the PS camp. Because of the 360's lackluster lineup and future releases, most of the grumbling leads me to believe that people are anxious to see what Sony can do. With my 360 already sitting behind my Gamecube (doh!), I'm definitely looking forward to the 'PS also. The bottom line is that MS's headstart doesn't mean anything...

It's not about sports being cool enough, rather I'm guessing that sports don't appeal to the majority of the posters here...
