It's overall shape reminds me of the new BattleStars from the new BSG series. Or, the Star Trek Voyager with some "junk"....

It's not that big of a deal, the recall only involves the seatbelts after all. Owning an IS or a GS 430 would certainly overcome any disappointment for a minor defect like this. Heck, I don't even use shoulder belts anyway...

Wishful thinking. There's no provision that prevents people from buying something and then reselling it. If enough people complained it might raise a few eyebrows but really now, we're talking about toys after all...

It just depends on how much of the noise a person is willing to take. My home-built P4 and my 360 are louder than I would like them to be, certainly loud enough to drive Dave over an icy cliff, but ultimately I don't give the noises much attention. Besides, with the jet-engine like noises these systems make, I've grown accustomed to yelling "clear for take-off!" before I turn them on...

89.99?! Back in the KB clearance days I picked up about 5 of them for about 24.99 each and I didn't think they were worth that much. As for 1/18th, I've got the very first '21st P-51, F4-U, P-38, BF-109. Also, I have the recent P-47, F-18, AH-64, UH-60 Blackhawk. I've forgotten who makes any of that stuff, but I'm sure you collector's know what I'm talking about. Some of I've got stowed away in boxes, as these guys are huge and space is tight. I'll try and post more later...

Also, Foose truly reworks the car, addressing drivetrain, eletrical and other systems. 'Pimp just paints and decorates the car, so mechanically the original beater is still there...

I have both types and I find the bootlegs to be almost as good as the original. There are issues with parts fitment in some areas as well as colors that just aren't right, but if you're looking to customize then the bootlegs will serve you well...
