The USS FLAGG can't float, because it's only half of a ship. The flight deck is full, to accomodate vehicles, but the inside of the ship itself is empty to allow you to "play" inside of it: Utterly, lame...

Scale's an odd thing with 'Joe vehicles. Alot of guys say 1:18 for most of the vehicles, but if you look at their X-14 SkyStriker for example, the figures sit in a rather enlarged cockpit-something's not right. As for the Flagg, it's over 7 feet long, but did you know that the entire superstructure is only a "cutaway?" I wanted a FLAGG for soooooo long, until a buddy of mine that has "2" of them told me that the set consists of only the flight deck, and then a "half" of a ship.... I passed on it and got the Defiant instead-the best $250 I ever spent...

What I wouldn't give to ride both of those hard and put 'em away wet...

Well, keep in mind that we're talking about the initial releases of the 'Plus Variable fighters that had the tendency to "break" here and there. I can't imagine that many people would want to pay much more than those auction prices; I know I wouldn't. As for that '21, that first version pretty much lives in the shadow of the 'Pak version...

I was lucky enough to find one in really good shape, and this space shuttle complex thingy is so large and beautiful that it takes priority over everything else. Yeah, '48s are beautiful but they are replaceable. Even if you had the money, you'd have a hard time finding a G.I. Joe Defiant in worthy condition...

Rob, 3.73 for your F-body, huh? Sounds pretty drastic, and I hope it doesn't run your RPM's up too high, although with both my 'Stang and Z28 running 2.73 gears I can't help but be jealous. If you're also looking to tighten up your handling try a strut-tower brace; I just bought one and I'm pretty sure it's helped out, although with a twisty convertible body it's hard to tell otherwise...

This thread is bringing up some good 'ol memories. I'm going to have to yank my 'Cast out just to play 'Delta again. I wonder if my VMU still has my data from all of those years ago. The only Ghosts I know of are the 2001, 2200 and 3000. According to the Compendium, these are all related to the Ghost X-9. Given that unmanned drones in the Macross series are named Ghost, it would be safe to assume that any other drones named Ghost are also part of the UN Spacy's UAV line...
