  1. I've been searching for Gradius Gaiden's soundtrack for ages...
  2. Huh? What? No, I haven't. Thanks for the tip-off though, I'll look into it. The hill billies on that site keep me away from there. Hate to be the one to say it though, but driving a Charger is always a scary thing to do...
  3. Yeeeeeaahh.... Just watched Tokyo Drift and I absolutely enjoyed it. The driving sequences/races were spectacular (the 1st one was great) the machinery beautiful and the acting....well, this isn't Oscar territory but I'll take the F&F's acting over anything from Star Wars anyday. One aspect of this movie that I appreciated, but I'm sure 99% of the audience will miss is the idea of consequences for driving like an idiot; I'm glad someone died in this edition. What I didn't appreciate was the choice for the lead-girl/whore, as any of the extras in this movie were far more alluring than her. Christine Mendoza would've been perfect! If you enjoy fast-car-action in a beautiful environment you'll enjoy Tokyo Drift. Just don't go in expecting the Shawshank Redemption or something, and you'll be fine. Oh, and I can't believe they had "HIM" in the movie also. I thought that stuff was supposed to be a joke!
  4. Yeah, I guess VW's hoping that as time goes on people will forget that Hitler use to roll with their wheels. Oh well, this is like Ferrari originally not wanting their cars being available in Need for Speed's Hot Pursuit portion of the game, so as to avoid being associated with anything evil...
  5. Yeah, think about it. A '21, '19 and '11 about the size of the 'Zero toy. There'd be enough room for all sorts of detail that they couldn't do with the '72 line...
  6. Really. The stuff's $100 a season for EACH series, which means that you could end up spending (counts fingers), like $3,000 for all 4 incarnations of 'Trek?! I like Trek, but not that much...
  7. If Bumblebee not being a Beetle is such an issue, why bother having him in the first place? Asides from providing Spike and his girlfriend a cool place to make out, and being a punching bag for Thundercracker and Skywarp Bumblebee served no other purpose in the cartoon. I'd rather see Bumblebee's character shelved than being turned into a Camaro, a moped, an aircraft carrier or whatever for Pete's sake...
  8. If we see Arnold in any other roles, it will be like the one in Collateral Damage; his days as a "Last Action Hero" are over...
  9. I'm curious; what's inside of those things, other than a full size bed? Are we talking full accomodations, or what?
  10. Good 'ol Muscles from Brussels. Heh, I actually like Van Damme (sp?)...
  11. Not to mention that he doesn't look like he did in Terminator 1, if you know what I mean...
  12. what about your Charger? 408156[/snapback] I still got her, though the 'vert is seeing all of the action because of the summer...
  13. 'Clash rules all. Forget these discussions about DYRL making it to Blu-Ray, HD-DVD, ultra-lasersonic-disc-format, what we need is 'Clash on DVD...
  14. Lol...That's a good one.
  15. Hmm....The only thing I can recall from that episode is Dax in that super-high-mini-skirt uniform thing...
  16. Whoa, whoa, hey! Is that the Japanese or U.S. Gradius collection? Does that thing have the music tracks to Gradius Gaiden?
  17. Might be just my opinion or that of a few others, but I always thought that the majority of Mercury cars weren't very attractive and therefor less desireable...
  18. I actually saw the first part of that story. Watching them just power up the Constitution class was really exciting. Now you guys are saying that there was actual combat? I've gotta' start looking for those episodes...
  19. That's the key to surviving the flood waters. With this in mind, I only had to bust for the 'Zero...
  20. That's a good question. I never bothered to watch Enterprise, but if they had the old Constitution class in action with today's special effects I'll have to look up those episodes....
  21. I wasn't talking about the black Charger, but the "new" style Dukes of Hazzard clone-that car has modern style wheels. I considered Cragars for mine, but in my opinion they're too common on muscle cars...
  22. Yeah, as much as I love Picard and his gang, TNG stories were relatively conservative and not nearly as stirring as DS9's later episodes. Somehow, like Dave said, Voyager failed to have the same effect...
  23. Yeah, thanks for the pictures, Reddsun. That picture of the Charger killed any ideas of mine to buy new-style wheels for my Charger; they just don't work on yesterday's bodies...
  24. Not to mention Trek's best fleet-battles. Seeing a half-dozen or so Galaxy class starships coming in multiple angles with phasers firing is something to be found only in DS9...
  25. Short of replacing the drive itself, I don't see what else you could do. I'd like to think that the excessive noise level was unique to the unit you brought home?
