  1. That really IS great. Any chance on doing a Lucy Mcmillan?
  2. Really? I didn't think that Canada, a country that's generally seen as very relaxed and moderate would have any issues like excessive gun violence and a movement to control it. Oh well...
  3. I wish I could agree, but here in 'Cali we're not allowed to wield anything more powerful than a super-soaker...
  4. This is the bird I've been WAITING for...
  5. I'd buy a couple, as I would want the VF-1 to be displayed with the 'Zero, both being in proper scale. That 'Zero just stole the spotlight from the '48s...
  6. Questionable or not, it allowed us to see yet another great air sequence...
  7. Bah. A Pup named Scooby Doo is the only set worth getting...
  8. Lol. I initially thought that you were talking about Balrog from Street Fighter. I was like, "Who the heck would want a 24" statue of him?" Anyway, that thing is beautiful, although I wish someone would go the cheapie route and just make a giant Balrog along the same lines of quality as the giant Nazgul toy of a couple of years ago to defray the cost; $99 is too much for me...
  9. Do we get free memberships to the dating service?
  10. Hopefully they'll have the arcade ending for Altered Beast; apparently, it was all just a movie!
  11. Thanks for the clarification, Graham. Now, when are they planning to release the 1/60 YF-21?
  12. Yeah, the main criticism of both 'Scrambled and DYRL was that they focused more on story and visuals rather than being "shooters" with a level of difficulty that aptly matches that category. Considering the great Macross vacuum back in those days, I easily overlooked those games' shortcomings and enjoyed them...
  13. Most anime titles have at least a coupla' tracks that you can get into. I liked the new Area 88's mix of rock and techno, although most of those tracks didn't make it into the U.S. release of the dvd's...
  14. Is Gradius V the version that was just released on the PS2? Also, I didn't know you could grab a Zen-Cruiser in 'Scrambled. I was always content with the "DORA 394," the pirahna like thing that would end up trying to bite your valkyrie if there were no enemies left-lol...
  15. It wasn't THAT hard, certainly not as difficult as Gradius Gaiden, R-Type, Einhander or any of that crowd of shooters. Just use Max until you memorize and defeat all of the trouble spots, and then you'll be fine...
  16. What color clay bar are you using? Different colors are supposed to indicate different abrasive levels of the clay. Naturally, you don't want to grate the paint off, but maybe you need a more harsh bar to get out that overspray. Also, I forget the color system of the clay bars-help me out 7!
  17. What got me is that alot of the distributors for the Avenger had refunded many of their preorders, stating that production, distribution and delivery problems would indefinitely suspend the Avenger release. No sooner than I let a friend of mine know of this supposed delay, he picks one up for me in a local Walmart. This bird IS huge, as the wingspan is easily over 3ft. Taking it out of the box was a mistake about as big as the plane itself. I was really hoping for the dark colored "Lost Squadron" variant, but the Atlantic "Midway" scheme will do fine. I'll try to put up some giant pictures, later...
  18. Roger that, awesome plane and pictures to boot. Has anyone picked up the 1:18 TBF-1 Avenger from 21st Century?
  19. Final Fantasy ain't got nuttin...
  20. You got that right....................."Chico."
  21. Any of you guys ever clay-bar and then wax your car? I've never waxed any of my cars for as long as I've owned them, and washed them every 2 years. After applying the clay bar, which literally felt as if I was sanding wood, my finishes look like new. Try it out! Of course, it rained two days later....
  22. I liked the opening theme to Super Atragon...
  23. Mr. March nailed it perfectly when he mentions the choppy pacing/editing, as well as Mann's failure to bring anything new to the table and genre, but to any other critics I would ask them what it is that they were looking for anyway? This movie emulated the original t.v. series in every conceivable way: locale, cars, casinos, cash, drugs, women, laughable story, etc. On that note, I say that Mann's Vice is a solid effort that accurately and successfuly emulates the original t.v. series. Revolutionary or Shakespearian this movie is not buy hey, that wasn't the point of this movie anyway. Oh, what the frak was that business about the "chico," "chica" thing, anyway?

Hmmm...So Yamato should space their releases to allow U.S. fans, who shouldn't even have their toys anyway, time to keep up with their schedule? Somehow I don't think that Yamato board members have that idea on their agenda; they're a business after all and will do as they please. I think it's funny that some people feel "obligated" or "forced" to buy everything. Just buy what you really want! Do you really have to have the 500th repaint of the whatchamacallit?

I think the prices for Ferrari's are ridiculous. I don't see why they can't market a Ferrari within the $12 to $16K range? Dude, if people can't pay to play then get off da' field...
