Neither have I. It must be nice to have regular television programs not be affected by the ratio, though. -We'd better take this up in the High-def thread or else...

Buy a Japanese system if you wanna' play Japanese games, or you'll have to deal with 'mod chips, soldering, disc swapping, rain dancing, praying to God and all of that other stuff just to get it to work. Also, I don't even know if modification is possible with the slim design...

What I should've said was that I've been with 16:9 for so long, that I can't imagine how wierd it must be to look at things with a 4:3 screen again; at least, a giant screen that's at a 4:3 ratio. Think of it this way: it's like trying to explain to Gen Y'ers what cassette tapes and records are-most of them don't even believe that we had such things...

The point Dave's making is that the previous sculpt was more favorable than the final one-there was no need to deviate from that initial sculpt and the accompanying accuracy. Add in the fact that the colors are completely wrong and you've got an expensive, fancy toy that fails miserably in alot of people's eyes including mine...

I'm seriously pulling mine out and replacing my '360 with it...

At that level of price and customization, the gas cap is a moot point, left to the purchaser to do with as they please. I HATE chrome myself, so that would be one less piece I'd have to change out...

Wow, I'm relieved. I was wondering if they would do a Thundercracker, and it looks like they already have... BBTS and places like that reported this thing would be in by October 2nd, for the 'States. I don't get it. They colored the MP Prime just as the cartoon version, I don't see why they couldn't have colored Starscream gray, complete with ridiculous blue and red accents. The "realism" arguement doesn't apply here, as we're talking about cartoon characters that just happen to resemble Earth vehicles...

I'll never forget the first day I turned on Mario 64, playing it for a few minutes and just saying....."wow". I haven't had that experience with any other system since then. Long live the '64!
