  1. I believe that Wal-Mart carried that model. Galaxy Defender is also the name of other 3-mode variable fighters that Wal-Mart has carried in the past. In regards to the VF-1 in the auction, I like the faux-slotted airbrake...

    1/60 YF19 rant

Which is why the upcoming '51 concerns me. This is going to be the largest and probably most complex variable fighter-toy, and given Yamato's apparent lack or care for quality control, testing, and (according to BoB) refusal to explore better plastics, I don't know if I'll be able to accept the higher cost which will probably be close to $300 or something...
  3. Alright, I propose we send out strike squads to make sure that Uwe Boll, Michael Bay and their like come nowhere NEAR this project...
  4. Yeeeeah!!!
  5. Ooooh, thanks for the 'pics CK. I love that Camaro 'vert...
  6. Yeah, looking at the gun head-on reveals a slight angle of the handle to the left. The lower hole on my handle is slightly larger than the other hole, however it seems to be shaped acceptably circular...
  7. You're right, the pegs do line up perfectly with the shield off. So now what? I just re-mounted the gun with the shield remaining unattached, and the gun is still crooked, although it's alot easier to "wiggle" the gun into proper position without the shield holding the arms in place. So we're looking at a combination of the pegs and the shield as the source of the misalignment...
  8. You might be right about the shield being a possible problem. You can see without the gunpod that the pegs on the arms do no line up, thus making the gunpod crooked when it's finally mounted. I'm not sure how adding width to the handle, like previous members have done, will fix the problem, but I'll give it a try until you or someone else figures out that clean fix. Oh, and I guess I'm the only one that's bothered by the gunpod more than anything else, including the landing gear-lol...
  9. Hmm...I would consider just pushing the gear out but I'm worried that the struts will snap or something. As for the gunpod, I'm an F mode freak so a straight gunpod has to happen...
  10. Looks like the tape-around-the-handle is the best fix for the gunpod, at least for now. Let me get this straight though, you just wrap a strip around the handle? Obviously, I'll have to poke holes in the tape for the pegs, but how thick should the tape be?
  11. Are you going to leave your wheels the way they are? They look like they don't angle outwards like the rest of the 19's we've seen...
  12. I hope that isn't a color scheme he's planning to approve for the upcoming '51...
  13. As long as they show her lithe, yet supple, naked body while she's changing outfits I won't complain either...
  14. So, does anyone know what that barrel-roll maneuver is used for? Also, I'm not too sure about the weapon options...
  15. Weren't the oliphant drivers supposed to be "Middle Earth" equivalents of black people? As for other minority races being in Tolkien's works, don't look too hard for them because the battle for Middle Earth is being waged by the "fair" people of the west, as they try to repel the "dark" forces from the East, if you get my drift...
  16. Have you seen the whole series yet?
  17. How else is the rest of it? Oh, and I love it when I fook myself by paying for overnight shipping and end up not being here when the package arrives...
  18. Even if you end up not caring for the story, the battle scenes, which take place in the air, at sea, on land, will leave your mouth hanging open in awe. Go and see 'Zero, if only for the gloriously presented combat...
  19. M7 does NOT rate over 'Zero...
  20. I like that, although I've always appreciated the Accords-especially the current generation. If I ever went rice I'd get me one of them coupes with a V6, M6, Vtec, blah blah blah...
  21. Yeah there were, although I can't tell what color they're supposed to be...
  22. Agreed, but what's keeping me from jumping for joy is your avatar, for example. The complexity of the '51 leads me to think that we'll have QC and breakage problems that we've never even thought of at a price that we can barely afford. Also, I think it's really strange that, according to Graham's update, the Japanese customers are not experiencing the breakage problems that we are. Are the Japanese acquiring replacement parts without officially reporting the breaks? Do Japanese fans actually transform/play with their variable fighters? Inquiring minds want to know...
  23. Looks like it won't ship until next Tuesday, as Monday is a holiday and as of now on Friday evening, orders still haven't shipped. Is it too late to upgrade shipping while the order is "processing?"
  24. Yeah, Dave Letterman's show has been using sound bites from Robotech also...
  25. I was kinda' hoping it did. Man, $200-just like that...
