  1. Well, it's a movie based on a dork, his whore girlfriend and giant transforming robots-it's as dumb as you can get regarding a movie storyline. If someone is seeking world shaking epiphanies and moral revelations abound in an intellectual movie/story then go watch Michael Clayton or a Shakespearian play or something-anything but Transformers...
  2. My console RROD'd a few weeks ago, but strangely enough a quick restart got it up and kept me from having to throw it out a window...
  3. The majority of consumers are highly ignorant. The only sensible option is the 60G version that features backward compatability. The 40G is too stripped down and the 80G isn't backwards compatible with a meager 20 extra G's of HD space...
  4. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I have yet to see ONE Wii console for sale, here in San Diego, in any of the big retail stores such as Wal*Mart, Target, Best Buy, etc.
  5. Heh, my SNES became discolored like that as well...
  6. The Wal*Mart DVD shouldn't be the dealbreaker-in my opinion it wasn't worth the time I spent to watch it...
  7. Lol, don't be too hard on yourself. There's always some pimple-faced, homebound teenager named DeathKillForcePWNSyou2008 that's gonna' take you out and make you feel like a tool for even signing on...
  8. "A-du-du-du-de-de-de..." Listening to Shia Le-Boo and watching his over-acting is as painful now as it was months ago, but at least the short chase scene still kicks ass...
  9. My '60 scale Super VF-1J has been in a locked closet since I purchased it, and it's already beginning to yellow. I also have some '55 Strikes that are stored in a similar fashion and they're also yellowing. There's more to this problem than just light...
  10. So here we have Jamie Summers, yet another rock 'em, sock 'em, bigger and better than anything with balls chick who pouts all day and ponders the meaning of her mysterious life. What a snooze fest. The action-chick character has become a worn and tired cliche and this is just another pathetic reminder of that fact. If anyone wants to get the gist of this trash, just watch an episode of Dark Angel, Alias, Xena, whatever...
  11. Some pages back I asked about the 80G's 'emu vs. 'emo, and everyone here stated that it would always be better to have the chip, as 'emu would never allow as much backwards compatability. Unless space becomes an issue, I wouldn't have a problem with keeping my PS1 & 2 for playing old games so I'm beginning to think that compatability is a moot point...
  12. Are you asking about units that utilize the EE and emulation? As far as I know, it's one or the other, with the 80G unit using only emulation. The 60G unit is still the one to get for price and compatability...
  13. If Yamato had never made Macross products, then I would have finished my '55 collection with the Ostrich and the Seeker, maybe even a Joke machine or two and called it a day. QC issues? What are those?
  14. Seriously, what the hell are they doing...

  16. Is there a version with a "do whatever I want and get away with it" badge?
  17. Where's that 'pic from?
  18. The price IS tempting, however with zero extras, a tacky case and an HD version on the way, you can't help but to pass on this set...
  19. Oh believe me, there's no shortage of M7 topics floating around this forum. Found this on page 2, you might wanna' continue your thoughts there as this thread you've started'll get locked up quick: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=2907
  20. Yup, 60gb versions are still available pretty much everywhere. $500 is still alot to ask...
  21. Just more indications of a fate or universal significance that lies beyond being a mere human, a Viper pilot in the Colonial Navy. Meanwhile, Lee is still sitting there, clueless as ever with a dumbfounded look on his face...
  22. Retired fan here. I have to say that I'm glad I didn't pick up the original releases of TNG on dvd for over $700+...

The '48 is one of the most durable "perfect" transforming Macross toys to date. Granted there were problems with backpacks hinges and...what else? I don't recall, however the '48 has stiff joints and sturdy enough construction to handle relatively rough, quick transformations and handling from experiened users which is waaaay more than anyone can say for the rest of their lineup...
  24. Razor chronicles the pirate-like tale of the Pegasus and how it survived the aftermath of the Cylon attack. In regards to the Titanium repaints, there's also an oddly colored Mark 7...
