Why do Aston's and other cars like them weigh so much?

I dunno, about 18"x18"x6" or so. It's the JVC RX-3TH, to be exact. It was my first receiver that I bought back in '97 and featured Dolby Pro-Logic but did NOT have a sub-out, so you'd be running just 5 speakers. Still, it's better than just running 2 speakers or t.v. speakers, although I guess space is really tight for you though, and your neighbors would end up hating you like they did me...

Actually, the new idea is exactly like the original car and that's why it's a bad idea. If you're going to take a childish, 80's concept like a sentient, crime fighting car into the present you should at least make it look like a vehicle that no one has ever laid their eyes upon, a vehicle that could only be seen in the wildest of fantasies, not a garden variety car that you could find in the auto-trader like a Mustang or a Trans-Am. Or course, you don't want it looking like the too-futuristic Banshee concept car that they used in Knight Rider 2000. Bottom line: this is just a bad idea period...
