    Nothing like wigging out on LS1tech.com... I cannot BELIEVE there are people out there who are even considering anything less than premium gas. The owner's manual specifically calls for the use of premium gas. PREMIUM GAS!!!!!!! These are high compression cars with computer controlled engines that are set up to run on PREMIUM GAS!!!!     I'm not willing to spend the time it takes to learn how to transform one of these things in a decent time under 5 days and not break anything. Graham posted that he can do sub-5 minute transformations on the new '21. Good for him and everyone else that has learned how to do that but me, I 'gots stuff to do...

    Agree with the landing gear not being able to lock down. Wings could be a little tighter, and also the thrust-vectoring-flap thingies as well; that was a problem I've encountered on all toy versions of the '21. Whatever though. I've waited for this bird to become a reality for about 11 years and I'm not disappointed...

    Anyone else pick this up? The original storyline and the few bits of unedited violence don't make up for the aged animation or the "fisher-price-my-first-microphone" quality audio production. Like Axl says, some things would be better, if we'd all just let them be...

    Psh. It's not like they have a choice. These transforming robots use anime magic on the big screen. I really don't think we have the technology to translate anime magic onto plastic toys in this day and age, unless you want to go back to Yamato's "dark ages" and have removable parts again. If someone really gets off on one mode or the other they should buy the corrresponding model kit for that mode. Besides, Macross variable fighters are aircraft FIRST. Gerwalk and Battroid will always take a back seat to Fighter mode. Personally speaking, I say thank God for that...
