Now, is that different than the metal version, or are they more or less the same?

Because the premise of Knight Rider is as dumb now as it was back then, although "back then" none of us knew any better. Like Axl says, "some things would be better, if we'd all just let them be...."

Thanks for being the guinea pig for this thing. Let us know how this turns out once you get it...

Are Variable Fighters Aeronautically Feasible?
myk replied to Hereticpoo's topic in Movies and TV Series
Even if the fighter mode was feasible, which it isn't (tailerons anyone?), what would be the point if you couldn't have a viable gerwalk and battroid mode? Variable anything is strictly fantasy. Oh btw, if the new guy gets to have an avatar featuring nudity then I'm putting up something; Mai Shiranui-tentacle-violation-style... -

Aliens Vs. Predator 2 Script and Movie Review

Now THAT'S a box set, although in Aliens #4 there isn't much in the form of added scenes... -
Hey, thanks for the response. No, I'm not looking to set the auto-crossing world on fire, I just wanna' give this a shot to see what it's like. If I really wanted to get serious, I'd buy a Miata like the guys at work all drive/run. You're point about the lock-to-lock wheel turns is really important-I can't believe I didn't think about that.

You guys wanna' talk pathetic, how's this: some of the guys at work have convinced me to try auto-crossing this Sunday. Look, my machines are outdated, and sometimes I get the gas and the brake mixed up, but I figured I should at least give this a try just for the sake of having done it. My question is this: which car should I take out? Obviously the Charger and the Z28 'vert are out of the question, so I've narrowed it down to the Mustang and the T/A. I figure I should take the Mustang, because I believe it handles better than the T/A and the lower power will keep me from getting in over my head. However, the auto-cross regulars tell me to take the T/A because it's "that much faster, and therefor you'll learn faster." That's alot of car to drive in "extreme" conditions and I'm just not sure if I'll be able to keep up. Another problem I have with this is the potential amount of damage I might do to the cars. Obviously, if I'm bold/stupid enough to race I should be able to take a bloody nose or a damaged fender, but I don't plan on making this a regular activity, so once again, which car should I take out? I'm grateful for your guys' advice...

Right on, although not having her nude in the pool scene was a real waste... -
Someone in the restaurant brought in an SRT8 Challenger today. If it hadn't been so busy, I could've chatted up the owner...

Wow, I guess laws like that would be helpful in that respect. Of course, if a law like that was implemented here I'd be taking the bus for sure. Question: have any of you guys ever purchased tires online? I was thinking about buying from Discount Tire's direct site which seems cheaper than going local. Obviously I have reservations about buying something as important as tires that I can't see in person. For example, what happens if there's a defect? Also, how will I get these things mounted, etc? Can I expect a store to mount, balance and service tires that aren't theirs? Finally, I guess I can kiss any hope of a warranty goodbye... Any experiences or advice on the matter is appreciated...

Dude. I think he's being sarcastic. Wait. Are you being sarcastic, too?

Are you guys sure that isn't one of the cars in the upcoming Deathrace movie? Also, what happened to the new t.v. KITT?

The only thing that has yet to be released is a diecast/plastic toy of the Andromeda; then the series can be laid to rest...

Lol. I wonder how many times they'll have to resurrect and kill off characters as well as the Yamato itself...

Fighting style, huh? Well, the Joker eclipsed every other character in that movie, so I didn't really notice. I have yet to see the movie in IMAX, which will be my fifth time out...

Probably more "retro-themed" nonsense. Didn't some muscle cars from the 60's place 'tachs and other gauges on the center console? When I bought a 'tach for my Charger people told me to mount it on the console. I mounted it on my steering column where I can actually see and use the damn thing...
