GI Joe 30th Anniversary Line Fall 2011
myk replied to Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Thanks for posting that up Shin. So uh....Anyone want my trio of original SkyStrikers? Lol. This is great news. All of those subtle changes and at that price make it a toy that I'll have to step out of collecting retirement for. Oh, and if they ever did the Defiant I could retire my original finally. As for the FLAGG, I never understood the draw to that thing. I mean, it isn't even a whole vehicle/playset-it's a cutaway. That never sat well with me, but to each their own... -
The Transformers 3 Thread--A Michael Bay Thread
myk replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I'd like to see him make a basket or breakdance like in the cartoon... -
"Dead or alive, you are coming with me!" I wonder if they'll reissue ED-209 again. That was one of those pieces that I let get away from me...

My dream girl Rose Byrne is in this as Moira. I've always wanted to see her in some tight spandex-ey thing...

SOC GX-58 Earth Defense Force Flagship Andromeda
myk replied to Kyp Durron's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I'd say the Andromeda Super-Space-Dreadnought is probably my favorite starship of all sci-fi/anime. It's too bad it went down the way it did, but what a beautiful ship... -
Oh wow I'm so happy for Richard Greico finally getting work. After his canceled t.v. shows Booker, Marker-I thought he would've offed himself by now...

SOC GX-58 Earth Defense Force Flagship Andromeda
myk replied to Kyp Durron's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Wow thanks for the show and tell, 'Spacy. You know I've never understood the design of the Andromeda, what with it being very sparse with guns-specfically AA guns. I realize that the Andromeda was supposed to be new, sleek and therefore uncluttered but that nest of guns on the Yamato would've looked great surrounding the bridge tower of the Andromeda, in my opinion... -
Now I'm really creeped out, seeing those body-less heads lol...

I don't want to watch that video because I'll gnaw my fingers off with bitter jealousy. I LOVE that car...

Well...I'd say that McFarlane got Sniper Wolf's booby-cleavage right... As for Hicks, I actually think McFarlane was on the right track, they just made him too "big." Michael Biehn/Hicks has an average build although he's about 5'10, but McFarlane built him like a 'roid pumping linebacker. The eyes and the expression were really close IMHO...

Those figures are SPOT ON-Mcfarlane or any other company would do well just to match the look of those customs (did they ever do the crew of Outpost 31?). The dog and Bennings were particularly creepy. On a side note, having mentioned Mcfarlane and fearing monsters under my bed I had to pull out my Movie Maniacs Aliens/Hicks figure for protection. Looking at Hicks there's one thing that I've never understood about figures from movies and that is why they can't get the faces closer to the actors. Is it a legal problem or something? Those Thing customs are SPOT ON like I said, however I'd wager that if a toy company like Mcfarlane tried to make those characters they'd end up having Justin Bieber's face along with a beard or mustache (depending on character) and a seriously ripped body with muscles I never even knew existed. This Hicks figure I've got looks as if with a simple uniform change it could double as a Ben Roethlisberger figure. Anyway, cool 'figs...

Lol, although I was more of a Misfit fan, myself...

Man of Steel - Superman movie has a director
myk replied to Mr March's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I'm sincerely shocked that Samuel Jackson isn't going to play Superman. In any case, I don't get the reboot. I realize that's the hip thing to do these days but I think the previous movie with those actors and that feel was adequate. Whatever, I'll bite when it comes out...- 442 replies

I still have all my classic Super Soakers, from the '50 on up. I think I tried using one of them a little while ago but it couldn't hold pressure anymore-I can only assume the others have met the same fate. Do you guys think I could refurb these old guns? I'm sure it's just rotted out seals... -Dood! I just went on ebay to try and see how much my CPS 2000 might be worth-some lunatic on there is selling one for $350, lol. Could they be worth that much? Not that I'd sell, mind you...

Shoot I'll take one of each...

Yeeeeessssssssssss...Give them to me RAW, and WRIGGLING! Lol Yup yup yup! And we're talking freak-of-nature cleavage here. Ha ha no kidding. But any chance to ride the never-ending SW gravy train will be taken I'm sure. I do hope they keep the sword of Plundarr (sp?) though-wouldn't mind seeing the sword of Omens get broken in HALF or something, (insert evil laugh here)...

What?! No way, lol... In regards to the T-Cats, you gotta love that Cheetarah...

There's at least one website I know of that's dedicated to picking apart Inception and no doubt Dark Knight as well. Freaking Debbie Downers...

I'm sure if I was lucky enough to have her as a bedside companion I wouldn't mind if she goddamn vomited, lol...

Dooood, that's trippy, lol. Thanks for pointing that out. Any other little tidbits of detail that most of us might've missed?

Alright I appreciate the input. I read online that there is a "specific method" for loading and feeding the Vulcan, and the slightest deviation from that procecure jams/breaks the gun. I don't recall if it was a NERF amendment to their instructions or if it was from more savy users of the gun itself. Also, considering its bad reputation I wouldn't buy it except in-person...

To you Vulcan EBF 25 owners: do you guys have jamming and/or breakage problems? I've wanted one for a long time but the Amazon reviews that report of breaking right out of the box make the Vulcan sound like the biggest lemon since...the original VF-11 from Yamato. Also, if any of you Stampede owners have issues of any sort I'd like to know. To the kids on the package posing with the guns: Why so serious?! Lol...
