I have the version 2.0 1/60 Yamato Macross DYRL VF-1A Hikaru, Max & Kakizaki Super/Strike Parts combo sets on offer!
All three sets sold!
-
I have a set of recast GBP-1S rear main boosters if you are interested!
-
Yeap...especially in HK, LOL
Actually, HLJ has very good prices on them, in fact with the Yen/Dollar rates right now, many items at HLJ are same or even cheaper than the scalpers prices we have to endure!
-
At the moment with all the frenzy buys, your best bet for the VF-1 (new and cheap) would be the model kit version! HLJ has them and on the plus side, they also come with the 30th Anniversary bonus parts!
As for the Fast Packs, well good luck, they can easily cost more than the valk!
-
So, two members asked me whether the set comes with the extra parts (chest covers & missiles). I am not sure but will try and find out from my friend!
Best fornow is to consider them without and if they do, than it is a bonus!
-
Okay, my friend got hold or will be getting a load of these deadstock CM's Brave Gohkin EX series Mospeada Legioss & Tread "Lota" (green version). These are all new mint in factory delivered boxes, not restock or reject stocks.
He is asking US$77.80 each before shipping, so if anyone is interested they can PM me. Shipping to the US will be around US$20-25.
Below are stock pics of the item I am referring to!

Beautiful.. very well done.
Any hints or suggestions for those that haven't built theirs yet?
Yeah, keep it in the box, this kit will give you gray hairs, all those detail and those plentiful parts! Btw Mike, two thumbs up for the awesome work. I think I only saw a handful of this kit completed and this is really one of the best one.
Anybody want to have a go at it, I have one and I think I will never have time to build it. I have old age catching up with me and with that comes bad eyesight, not the best combo for tackling this kit!
-
I had a similar problem, my VF-11B came with two same sided main fast packs boosters, luckily the shop was able to change it for me!
Regarding your hands, there is a fellow member here Kurisama, who made some and has the on Shapeways for sale!
-
Yeah, only up to certain month/year of production did the canopies came with the tint. Yamato had to stop because many of the paint started to crack and/or peel off even if left untouched mint in box!
-
Please see original post!
-
All kits sold, mods, thread can be closed, thx!
-
Yamato released some 1/48 VF-1 decals and I think a fellow member here had them for sale. If not I could maybe help you get them as a local shop still had them, though that was a long while back.
-
Yeah, but you need to know that those are old stock photos, so the seller might not even have those valks on hand. Once someone places a bid on it then they go out and find these valks from local shops.
I am actually a little cautious when buying off EBay when only stock photos are used, not to mention when dealing in pricey items!
Actually, even Angolz apply these method as their warehouse is in the same building as my friend's and I have seen some of their employees doing bulk buys from local toy shops!
-
Well, hope you made a fair deal of money! All the 1/60 Yamato valks have skyrocketed in prices in the last two months or so after Yamato changed name to Arcadia and the future of any Macross related toys they make is uncertain.
-
Though the 1/60 Yammies are not as sturdy as the good old 1/55 Takas or re-issue BanDais, sometimes you just need to give it a little force to get those parts click into position!
-
Likewise, smooth transaction with "vt102", good communication and prompt payment!
-
-
"Macross" is officially only licensed for the Japanese market, anything outside will have to be re-named to Robotech!
All those in the US are grey imports!
-
I am not fond of the J head but the armor looks great, tight fit and mine looks pretty nifty after I gave it the weathered and used look! The only letdown is perhaps the feet covers and shoulder pads to in a way needed to beef up the valk!
-
Nope, wanted to get a VF-1S Hikaru and trying to sell my GBP-1S & VF-1J combo set!
-
Shops still had the VF-1J Hikaru 30th Anniversary edition the last time I passed by, though prices already jumped to like $150-160!
-
Bankruptcy sounds likely and maybe was well planned! It is common practice to file bankruptcy, change name and start fresh without any or little debt.
The action might not necessary mean Yamato was losing money but perhaps a way to bypass some corporate taxes!
-
The recent frenzy buys really cleared out all Yamato valks, even the previously unloved VF-1A Kakizaki variants are moving off the shelfs!
And those recent re-issue 30th Anniversary version, well used to be around $110, now shops have hiked them up to $150-160 depending on type. I wanted to pick up another VF-1S Hikaru, now that might just have to wait!
-
Loads of shops have them over here for roughly $310-315!
I can help you pick one up, I assume shipping will be in the region of $29-30, depending on method and packaging.
You might also want to give Evay a try, might find some reasonable offers.
