Letting go a new in box version 2.0 1/60 Yamato Macross VF-1A Hikaru & Super/Strike Parts Combo Set, asking US$200 before shipping (shipping fee will depend on location, method of packaging & method of shipping).

Valkyrie is brand new never taken out of tray, box has very minor shelf wear, the tinted canopy does have some pint cracking but can easily be rubbed away.

As a bonus I will also throw in a recast set of the 30th Anniversary Option parts casted in grey (iPhone camera has made the parts look bluish but trust me, it is grey)!

Preferred payment is PayPal's personal gift option, otherwise pleas add 4.5% towards total!

The kit's box is actually surprisingly big, even the fast pack parts. I guess they had to justify the cost by placing it in a large box to make the buyer feel better!

The box' artwork though, IMHO is only so so.

Oh...and yeah, the kit was supposedly released today but was already available at the Macross exhibition, which commenced a day earlier.

The exhibition also ad the Metal Bo's SD VF-1S Hikaru Strike resin kit for sale, which I thought was not available until August/or a Wonder Fetival exclusive!

You might want to specify which VF-1A Kakizaki you are after, the easier obtainable DYRL version or the Macross Chronicles exclusive version!

I plan on ordering this in a few days, and it'll be my first Amazon.jp purchase. Does anyone have any tips or advice for orders being shipped to the U.S.? Would choosing the cheapest shipping be a bad idea in terms of packaging quality or time? Is there anything else that I should do that would ensure this arrives to me in good condition?

Amazon JP now only ships EMS or DHL Express for all international orders, after handling fee and shipping fee the total will be Yen 1700, at least that is what they charged me

Mine arrived today, super fast shipping and well packed, BD pack is shrink wrapped and backed by an oversized cardboard, which is then in return housed in a DHL shipping box.

Selling a loose 1/60 Yamato VF-1D Ver 2.0 on behalf of my workmate. The valk has been transmored a few times and sat most of the time in a display cabinet, joints are tight, cosmetically in excellent condition, tinted canopy is in perfect condition, instruction booklet and sticker sheet are untouched, literally still tape sealed in original bag.

Besides no box, it is also missing the three TV style "fat hands" and there is a small crack on the rear end of the heat shield rail guide (please see photo with area circled in yellow). The crack does not hinder trasnformation as it is not a stress bearing point and optically is not noticeable as it is mostly hidden/tucked away in any modes. It can easily be reapired with a drop of super glue.

Just got myself the model kit version of the VF-1S for a custom project, so the VF-1S Hikaru I have and a set of Strike/Super Parts can be treasured bysomeone else!

All items are in great to excellent condition, the valkyrie was only transformed twice and left in battroid mode for display with fast packs on for a short time before being stored away.The VF-1S is the one with the tinted canopy, which is in perfect condition, comes with all accessories, instruction booklet and unapplied sticker sheet.

The Strike/Super Parts are placed onto the valkyrie for a short time before being stored away, two stickers (the red skull squadron emblem) have been applied, comes with instruction booklet and sheet of remaining stickers.

Are they trying to compete with BanDais's ChoGoKin DX Macross Frontier series and see who can make a more colorful Valkyrie (YF-29 30th Anniversary Edition) and even more expensive!

Mods, I believe I have been unjustly nominated for the MW Blacklist by Gakken85!

I listed items for sale in the sale thread and Gakken85 was first to PM me with a simple short request to see some pics of a particular item (exact quote: "can i see some pics of the VFX?"). I replied saying pics will follow the next morning (my local time), moments after I sent my reply another member contacted me with interest in the same item and item was sold to him.

Now Gakken85 says to put the item on hold for him, which he did in his second reply (exact quote: "No rush. Just put it on hold for me ) by then the valk is already sold.

So, I always thought the MW Blacklist is for transactions going bad and how can one even nominated another before there is a transaction, let alone in chronological order or request he is not the first!

Just received my BanDai Tamashi Nation exclusive Macross Frontier YF-29 30th Anniversary Special colour Fast Packs.

Item is brand new and still tape sealed in outer brown shipping box, asking US$75 shipped. Shipping by first class registered air mail and preferred payment is PayPal's personal payment option, otherwise please add 4.5%.

Not sure about acrylic lacquers being non-yellowing as I assume any paint will eventually yellow/discolor with time, unless if maybe stored in a dark temperature controlled room.

You might want to give Mr.Color's UV clear coat, this will at least slow down the yellowing/dibs coloring process. I have kits displayed for three four years now without any problem.

Well, they are all standard stock photos, so most likely half of what is listed in out of stock.

Also, Europeans pay a whole lot for import tax duties, so most likely 30% of the listed price went to the government!

Thought some of you guys might be able to help, any idea what the Macross Frontier Key Animation is about?

Is it just a collection of copy draft pencil cel collection from all the different Macross Frontier anime? Is it worth getting?

How much are you willing to discount for all 3?

The Hikaru set is already sold and a deal on Max is being finalized, all I have now is the Kakizaki set!

I hope you did not already paid, nowadays one has to be very careful, many on-line shops claim to have items in stock but in fact they do not. The good ones will issue a full refund but some will just hold onto your money giving various excuses, so fellow members, be careful (speaking from personl experience and been burnt once!)

The VF-1A Max & Kakizaki Super/Strike combo sets, overall condtion of boxes are great, the Max does however have a slight tear on the front bottom right corner (about 1cm) and a small cut on the top layer (about 2.5cms).

Valks are mint, box only opened once for inspection, valks never taken out from clear plastic trays!
