Hi there, need some advice on Gundam products! One of my friends need some cash and is offloading a set of unbuilt PG Gundam RX-78-2 with both Custom Parts 1 & 2 for US$160. Is this a good deal? I am not really into Gundam as there are just too many variants out there but am an occaissonal sucker just for the RX-78-2 Andy

I wish I could help as I have nothing to do or anyone to speak to at work currently Boring....yeah, anyone out there to shed some lights? I am interested too, as I want to get the SHE YF-19 perfect variable! Andy PS Het AlphaHX, plan to sell your kit?

The Max Queadluun is already out, at least in Hong Kong! Most of the shops around town have them on hand, so I guess all the shops statewise and web-based retailers will have them in no time! Andy

Sounds a little high to me too! But come to think about it the valk stand does weigh a fair bit. The 10 CMS' will be around 0.5kg and add the stand 1-2kg will make the total to roughly 2-2.5kg after packaging.

The nose on the Hasegawa kit is actually a little more aerodynamic but the Club-M is not that bad at all! The Club-M's nose is slightly more slanted too but from certain angle it appears to be better looking than the Hase. The Hase sometimes appears to be too stretched!

I have the kit and must say that it is great. Okay, if you want an easy to build (in comparison) and slightly sleeker in design then go for the Hasegawa kits, not to mention that they only cost a fraction. If you want to build one with all the weapons and open engine bay etc then the Club-M kit is your only bet!

Just noticed in the models section of the MW website that the Club-M 1/72 YF-19 comes in two different boxart designs So, is the colour box the first release and the rarer one? I only have and seen the black & white box with pink writing Can anyone shed some light?

The guy just does not want tp pay the high Ebay fees, so he lists the item very cheap but compensates it with a super high shipping fee!

Make a battle damaged VF-0S with the head serverely shot to bits!

I actually live in Hong Kong and was here last year that time Just could not be bothered, not to mention do not really like the Low Vis, man was that a big big mistake Now I really wish I had a time machine
-
If you want you can use my time-machine and go back to the early '80s and get yourself dozens of Takas This will save you much of the hassle, I mean that is how I get mine

Hey Christopher, how about the 1/72 Club-M make of the Macross Plus series! There was the YF-19, YF-21 and the VF-11 in fighter modes! Wooops! Just noticed that they are already on your list, please just ignore this!

I really believe BanDai still hold many of the Macross licenses but a) cannot be bothered to produce any new toy or even reissue them because it is just not profitable and b) keep other companies from making better Macross toys and cutting a slice into the BanDai Gundam market! So, they just spend the little money (small changes for BanDai), get the license from BigWest and sit on it. Furthermore BigWest might want to see more Macross toys to be made but cannot upset the toy giant BanDai, so are more or less forced to give them the license!

Here are the pics from the original auction, which was by the way in Taiwan! Paid like US$30.00 for the whole set and almost thought I struck gold, struck more like s#*t

Just came across some very low quality (poor paint job and bad smelling) CM's Part 1 figures I suspect them being bootlegs but have anyone heard about this? There have been rumours but are there really CM's Part 1 bootlegs around Forgot to mention that there is no "Big West" sticker present!

Great work! The captain has rested well enough...now get back to work and get us that launch vehicle!!!

Just came across a shop where they were selling a lot of anime t-shirts ranging from Saint Seiya, Gundam, One Piece etc...to a Macross 20th Anniversary tee Was there ever an official release or its another bootleg, I mean I am living in Hong Kong The funny thing though that it looked very legit and quality was also not too bad and the price was like roughly US$65, so not cheap at all! The shirt was short sleeve black tee with white printing of a Strike or Super (cannot remember exactly now) VF-1S and some fancy horizontal lines, any idea about this?

Okay guys, we will be taking in limited orders soon for these glass portraits, want to keep these exclusive and to be honest they are a pain to make We are now just doing some final calculations on cost! Expect the small sized portrait to be around US$70 and the large US$85 exc. shipping; trying to find a cheaper supplier and hoping to buy the raw material in bulk to bring the cost further down because shipping and insurance will be a bummer (glass is heavy and fragile!).

Just a thought which came across my mind. Why do most model kits come in the scale of 1/72, 1/48 etc... Would it not be better to make them like in 1/50 instead of 1/48 or say 1/70 instead of 1/72 Anyone, whoc might be able to shed some lights or thought

Well the "uber rare" Minmay doll looks just like the regular one with a quick silver paint job! I bet you guys paid lots for it too!
