  1. Yeah...thumbs up Hurin for the fast service her we get on Macross World
  2. Sweet, I want one of those too Will fit perfectly for my mobile phone wallpaper Okay, who has got this on his or her harddisk and is willing to share
  3. Well, I have one of those standing types and must say it does suck However the vac is so damn heavy and quite clumsy to operate, not to mention that without changing bags ever, the tube storing all the dust & dirt can get filthy! Apparently the newer smaller models are more user friendly
  4. I am no expert when it comes to painting, being colour blind does not help it any bit more But just a suggestion, how about spraying the Fast Pack parts with one of those widely available coloured transparent/transluscent paints with a hint of either grey (for darker results) or blue? I believe Tamiya or Mr. Hobby stocks them in assorted colours.
  5. I always wanted to get one, especially the Shadow version; now this has finally made me say yes...go for it
  6. ...exacto knives...now that brings back nightmares! Try using it on a piece of thick cardboard and ooppss with a miss...see part of your thumb come off clean Now that took ages to heal and hurt like hell!
  7. Here is the link to the Yahoo Japan auction! 1/24 VF-1S
  8. For the size and price of the RX-72 Gundam, there is really not much detail. Go for the current PG instead or wait a while and a new PG RX-72 will be released with even more poseability!
  9. Possible to use the resin used in casting the "Spider Bugs" as it was far better to work with and gave more detail than the one used for the "Booster kit". Also, any chance just getting the arm and signal unit without the base as I believe it will cost a bomb to ship that, especially overseas I know, I always try and make things complicated , Andy
  10. Ha...they first commanded high prices, up to $150 as they were a limited event release edition But then the "limited part" seemed not too limited after all, not to mention they look crap, so nowadays you can find a set for around US$50! They are even cheaper than the original CMs part 1 equivalent counterparts
  11. Yahoo Japan has one up (I believe it is the same one) and asking for $500 of your hard earned cash Pay all the fees and shipping...around $700 and it can be yours There also seems to be another huge VF-1 in 1/30 or 1/32 scale.
  12. One question, are the base and signal arm anime true? I mean are they based from what Macross material you could gather or clips from the DYRL movie? Just curious
  13. My ears are all open, put me down for one or two sets please Also, any chance of incorporating the arm with enough space for placements of tiny super magnets, so that the valk can be taken off to recreate that opening scene of DYRL
  14. Although my Japanese sucks, the bundled package with the pre-order CD is a CD from Macross 7...hope I am correct

    Stickers on Toys

Nah...just ask Devin to whip up a set of waterslide decals. Way slicker than those thick and sticky stickers
  16. Thanks for the great pics Nanashino! I just picked up a PSP yesterday, so these will come in handy Andy
  17. Thanks for clarifying things up guys! Will have to watch DYRL this weekend again to check it out Andy
  18. I have been just told that the artist responsible for only the missiles scenes in DYRL added a little special touch, namely a Pepsi can and possibly a Heineken can as missiles in the final scene where Hikaru is piloting the VF-1S to fight Boldoza. Is this true? Has Anyone every mentioned this previously? Just curious, Andy
  19. No matter what, the Yamato one is set and will sell like hot cakes since this is the first removable GBP-1S toy since the Taka one decades ago I guess Yamato could have done a better job if they did not insist on making all missiles detachable, this will no doubt add difficulties to the scuplt, not to mention the fat chest syndrome Btw, is the one on the left the Yellow Submarine 1/100 resin kit or a scratch build using a Hase VF-1 as base?
  20. I bet amazon.co.jp will be faster! Andy
  21. Not sure about it though, but how about one of those Super Fine Polish in a tube by Tamiya? I t acts as a very very fine sand paper, finer than a 2000 grain and shoul be able to just take off the yellowed and leaves the model/toy with almost no visible scratches! Andy
  22. Well, if we can scratch together 15 people who are willing to pay around US$300, I guess the 1/48 VF-4 with details can be turned into reality Btw, a 1/48 YF-19 Battroid is in the works!
  23. He might be out on an archeological trip or so! If I remember correctly that is his full time job...archelogist. Be patient, if his mail box is not full he will get back to you...could be months but he will get back to you Andy
  24. Hmmm...well a PG Gundam, which has been sitting in the corner for like 6 months now...a Valk Booster kit, which is still in its prep stages and a few smaller kits and bits and pieces.
  25. It is Rob (aka Monkey Nugget) selling the kit! There is a already a tread in the auction section. Andy
