I actually bought a set and spoke with the owner. They run an on-line toy shop and these decals were a side business, testing the market, so to speak!

The decals are actually very nice, sharp colours, white is white and pre-cut.

The owner told me if sales go well they might do more decals for other ainme.

If you only plan on buying one or two books, than Amazon Japan might be expensive with the other charges besides the actual shipping charges.

However, once the order goes beyond several books, the total works out pretty decent and honestly, I do not believe many can compete with their shipping charges as Amazon has some deal with their shipping contractor.

Nope, I do not have that kit or actually ever saw it in person. I do know that it pops up for sale now and then, either here on the forum, Evilbay or Yahoo JP, but expect to pay a premium for it, original or recast!

Yamato just recently released the 1/60 Fan Racer model kit. You might perhaps want to consider that instead as it is still fairly easy and inexpensive (compared to the Tanmen kit) to obtain.

I must say Yamato did a great job with the 1/60 ver 1.0 and 1/48 GBP-1S armour; but no doubt the new 1/60 ver 2.0 will be far superior than all the previous releases.

With all the learnt experiences and the better proportioned valk, not to mention I am almost certain the armour design was taken into account when the valk was developed, this new GBP-1S should rock the world!

I think games will still be made for the normal PSP for some time even after the PSP Go is released, just like they still release new PS2 games!

As for info on the Sony memory sticks (all formats), there is news that Sony have formally abandon this format for its Sony Ericsson mobile phones, so likely all other Sony peripherals will follow suit. This is good news as most other mass storage device formats are cheaper than Sony's own!

Graham, did you not also bought the BanDai Wonderswan just for the Macross game?

I know I bought the PS2 just for the Macros game but luckily found some other good games to make the costly console worthwhile.

The design of these valks are actually not too bad, the only issue I have is the qc. You would think that BanDai being such a big company would at leat bring out half way decent items but out of all the new Macross F items, this is perhaps one of the worst.

Honestly, if you can afford the bigger DX valk, go for it and stay away from this. The paint job is horrible and the soft vinyl like plastic seems to deteriorate the moment you get it out of the box and start to play with it!

Which type of Fast Packs are you after? I assume it is the DYRL version, seeing you wnat to put it on the VF-1S Max. I have not seen any around for ages now but will give my supplier a call to see if they are still in stock and available.

Some shops over here still offer it, though I am not sure on price. So, if your search on the forum fails and still interested in one, let me know!

Not to pick on you but there are numerous threads in this forum covering techniques on weathering from using normal pencils, Gundam markers, special weathering kits to full blown air brush guides!
