Good to hear that people are stating to get their kits and are happy with them. This is my friends first venture into mass recasting and hope to improve on the next product, so any comments are welcome
-
Okay, everyone who paid for the VF-4 up to this point will be receiving the kit very shortly as it is already in the mail! All payments received from today onwards will get their kit shipped out in mid January when I get back. My friend the creator of the kit, Anthony and I welcome any comments in regards to quality, decals, instructions (okay, some English grammer have been spotted but nothing too big ) etc. as it is his first time producing a resin kit in large volume, usually only one or two kits will be casted for own use! A completed kit is already on hand and I just need to find some time to take some pictures and post them up!

Is There A Book Of All Of Macross Toys And Kits?
Valk009 replied to ghiblione's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Honestly, I do not think any book past, present or future will be able to cover every Macross item released. The members here on MacrossWorld have a very extensive collection but every now and then a never before seen or heard item pops up! Furthermore, do not forget about the convention only kits; some are only limited to 10 kits and most of the time sold already even before the doors of the convention is opened! -
Still a few kits left, so you are lucky!

No probs for hi-jacking the thread, at least it keeps it alive I just sent out PM's to all people interested in the 1/72 VF-4 fighter resin kit in regards of payment and shipping dates. Prices are US$85 per kit and will include first class air mail and registered postal service. I understand that some of you are still deciding, which is fine as

Things are coming together The first batch of kits are casted, all metal parts ready, the new instruction sheet and the decals will be ready by the end of the week! A completed kit will be on display by Wednesday, latest Thursday. I will slowly contact each interested member regarding payment/shipping details.

So, we all now know that the floating space poo is roughly 19 inches long...any ideas on the scale? 1/20000? 1/30000?
-
Only one canopy per set is planned but I could add another one or include a resin master! The kit is sold for $85 and includes worldwide first class registered air mail and all PayPal fees.

"so is this going to be happening?" Keep your pants on Estimate time for the VF-4 to be shipped out is end of November/ early December! Before then, a completed model will be displayed

Thanks but it's too expensive for me! 342109[/snapback] Don't worry! Something special is in the pipeline

Valkyrie - Nice work on the VF-11 Looks like you did some kit bashing, is the nosecone from the Hase YF-19 and the wings from the Hase YF-21 with heavy modification?
-
I guess it is maybe because it was an empty box, which made the customs looking into like the way you received it I believe either all or randomly, parcels go through x-ray checks and since your parcel contained nothing...custom officials maybe got suspicious and took "all necessary" forces to "rape" your Fast Pack box making sure nothing of harm is contained in it

Yep, I am the Seller of that kit Do not really want to see it go as it took me ages to find it Also, I was taking the free listing (well 5 penny) on Ebay UK advantage

Grayson72 is correct, there were indeed three fighter version of the VF-4 produced in 1/27 scale by three different companies, namely Musasiya (resin kit), Club-M (resin kit) and Hobby Base Retppu (plastic). There might be still a couple of event only kits around but I have no idea of it Now, to my knowledge there were also a few variants between the VF-4 family...VF-4G...VF-4 Lightening etc. Differences between them are not much but mainly noticeable on little additional fins, fin tip variations etc. "Valkyrie", you will also notice that in your original Musasiya kit, you have the option to build the VF-4 is either "standard" or "heavy" version. The one my friend and I will be release is the "heavy" version as apparently there is no lineart or ever anywhere mentioning of having a "standard" version; just like the Club-M kit where it comes with a gunpod and evryone knows that the VF-4 has no gunpod...guess all these are "extra touches" by the sculptor

In regards to quality issue and the "easy'ness or difficulty'ness" in building this kit, well it is true to what a member here mentioned that the original kit was a real pain to prepare due to lot of the parts not fitting properly etc. However the new kit has undergone extensive modifications and the final production should be very clean and not much time for preparation should be needed Furthermore, this new casting will have less pieces than the original, for example whereas the original kit's nose section was divided up into three pieces (a real pain to prepare and fit), the new kit will be made up of one piece

I have been PMed a couple of times and asked whether the pictured primed VF-4 is the final completed version. The pictured kit is not the final version, some final touches are still missing, the canopy , side thrusters, guns, all the missiles, the pilot etc. A fully painted kit will be put on dispaly very soon, in order for everyone interested to get an idea

Valkyrie Grayson72 SHIPPED Viceland (maybe 2) mechaninac (maybe) darklord4 SHIPPED JoLe727 Penguin SHIPPED Spatula Robert S SHIPPED neptunesurvey SHIPPED phule jorawar_b (maybe 2) THOR (2) SHIPPED honneamise SHIPPED Aurora-7 SHIPPED Goshawk SHIPPED cokefiend superdupont SHIPPED Gyro SHIPPED Wheels SHIPPED UNSpacy

Put me down for one Seems like this run will have better quality control and those extra decals!
-
I believe someone on MacrossWorld recatsed these two kits about a year or so back. Maybe they molds or the donor kit is still good for another recast!
-
$13 bucks for the Toynami , well that is already an inflated price! Over here in Hong Kong they can be found for less tha a $5 and still nobody wants them
-
Sorry guys, checked the scheduling of Hasegawa products for the coming months up until late next year on their website and there is no sign of the VF-11 or even any other Macross kits Just hope this is not final and that they will squeeze in some surprises The next kit from the Macross line is the already known Zero with booster/ghost!
-
Yeah...Hasegawa kits are true model kits! You get a lot of fun out of them and will require some skills to get them right, not like the latest BanDai MG and PG kits where no glue or putty is needed, not even sanding down parts as all are nicely hidden

Saint Seiya Hades Arc Sequal Confirmed
Valk009 replied to Sumdumgai's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Well, here is one possible reason why they had to find new voices Money talks and bull$#!t runs a marathon! -
How about one of those air cleaners (sometimes called "ionizers") I see them in shops and on TV and they claim to be able to get rid of smoke smell
-
I think copying photoetched parts is not as easy as one thinks, for sure not a DIY job Getting some done will also require a fairly huge amount and with not much market demand, not many photoetched parts copies has been made for recast kits!
