I am offering my full set of the BanDai SD valk models (all 4 of them). New and unbuilt, asking $100 + exact shipping cost!
-
PM'ed you Dax415! Btw, for those who paid for their kits already...well, they are on its way and should be by your doorsteps just in time for X'mas!
-
he he...I was there and must say that the figures look great! Fockker is finally available in proportion. Although the Hikaru figure in DYRL pilot outfit is not yet available until some time next year, this is an action figure, which cannot be missed!
-
I had to pull a lot of strings and use all my connections to get hold of this kit, to bad the owner does not have the armour for this kit. However, I do know someone on the forum, who has the kit as he showed pics of it a while back...hmmm, not sure though if the person will part with it for recasting

I have some spare parts from a stripped Hase VF-0S fighter, so as long as the part you are after is not a dedicated VF-0D part, I might be able to help out!
-
The SD Fire Valk could be a BanDai production, seeing that they did most of the SD models or toys and also having the M7 license...just wonder how big that cutie is?

/72 Macross VF-1J/1S Full Armored Super Valkyrie

It is a recast, as far as I know HobbyFan does not produce anything themselves, they are just a middleman! They buy kits from local suppliers and repackage them. They are cheaper than most other places because they buy up an entire mold (or close to all), hence the always out of stock symbol and do not care on quality control. -
"Does anyone know what the two parts below the gunpod are?" I asked Graham and apparently they are some kind of replacement pieces. these are made out of high impact ABS plastic!
-
Looking more closely at the pic you will see taht there is no Big West sticker, so I assume this was most likely sneaked out from the factory!
-
Looks like the Yammie YF-19 gets a head start release in Hong Kong before Japan does! Pulled these pics off the local Yahoo auction site. Will head to the shops today and see
-
Will commence with the project this weekend and should be ready in a week's time. Kits will be shipped out before the X'mas postal shipping deadline!
-
I believe the panel lines will still show up on the vacuumed formed canopy and the result should even be better than Hasegawa's thick lines. The only thing I am worried about is the size; the vacuumed formed one will ever be slightly bigger than the original one making it difficult to set in place when closed. But since you want to display the valk in open canopy position, I guess it does not really matter
-
Yeah...the kit does come with the optional removable Fast Packs! ...and a pic of the original kit ready for casting
-
This is the only picture I could find. Will post some more pics of the actual kit later on tonight when I get home!
-
Yep, they did a removable armour too but I am not that lucky. The variable VF-11C was already very difficult to come by.
-
Offering the recast of a very rare a Wonder Festival limited kit, namely the IHP made 1/100 fully variable VF-11C Thunderbolt with removable Fast Packs! Prices are US$74 for one kit or US$145 for two and will include all PayPal fees and first class registered air mail shipping. Kits are on hand and ready to ship out!

Gathering interest on a variable VF-4 resin project!
Valk009 replied to Valk009's topic in Model kits
Thanks for the great feedback Jarrod I must also admit that the casting is done very professionally. Any other SHE recast projects...well, I only have an original SHE VF-4G and YF-19 kit. Recasting the YF-19 is not much point seeing that there are so many other better kits/toys on the market. What I do plan is possibly a recast of the very rare event only IHP made perfect variable 1/100 VF-11C kit. This kit does not require any screws, only a few ball joints and is relatively simple to cast, so will cut production cost down. I expect it to be in the region of $80 shipped! -

I doubt I will recast any other SHE kits as most are already available in toys, which are honestly better. The only other SHE kit I might think of is the VF-5000B but before this has any chance; first I will concentrate in delivering some own production scratch builds. Two are currently in the pipeline -

-
I got a few from the original run and they are superb They match perfectly with the launch arm, servicing the valk just before take-off!

Latest news....the original kit is already with the caster and should take 2 - 3 weeks to complete! Only 25 kits will be available, so this is a first come first serve basis. -

"add me in, but I hope it will not take as long as other projects in the past...lol no disrespect." I guarantee before end of November, the last project took so long because one of my friend was too lazy. This time he he not involved -
Latest update! All kits have been shipped out for those who paid on or before the 10th of November, expect them to arrive in a week or two's time.
