Well, ever since Hasegawa model kits came out on the market, any stuff previously made with resin has drop in price considerbly. The 1/72 Club-M VF-1 Strike fighter kit goes for roughly $50 - $80 on Yahoo Japan, the last I saw. This depends whether you have the first release, red box or the later release, blue box. The blue box is actually the VF-1 Fast Pack version but later issues used the same box just the wording change by replacing it with a sticker.

The polycaps you need are from WAVE and they are long discontinued. If you bought the recast set of me I have included recast polycaps!

Well, honestly I will trust Graham's word any given day on Yamato news Also, with Yamato's past history of releasing dates and items, I really doubt that they can push out so many things months after months

The big laser cannon is under construction and it is huge...bigger than the valk itself! At first I thought of making the armour removable but due to many technical difficulties, such as Kawamori's anime magic, the valk not looking in porportion and the access to the vintage VF-11 battroid kit, I have come to the solution to make the armour non removable.

Give me a few more months and this 1/72 VF-11 Full Armour will be available Used some parts from the Hobby Base Retppu kit and the rest is scratch build by my very good friend

Great job Jarrod, good to see another finished SHE VF-4 kit. Although SHE never stated the scale of this kit, it is more or less as Jarrod already mentioned in 1/72 scale. The only other fully variable VF-4 resin kit made and in 1/72 scale was done by IHP (now known as Liquid Stone).

Looks like this function has not been working for quite some time now, at least two weeks or so. At first I thought it was a problem with my e-mail provider but I guess now it is a general issue.

They have been released for about two months now and are gashapons! Too bad only limited quantaties have been produced and are now virtually impossible to find I am hoping that they will re-issue them soon, keeping my fingers crossed

Yeah, those kits prices can vary a lot! I bought my normal VF-19 without the boosters, first edition and still sealed for close to US$130 a couple of years back

Yeah, WAVE made them a while back, a normal VF-19 Fire Valk battroid and one with the sound boosters. There was a second edition in this series with a cheaper price tag (apparently no more metal parts) but the version with the sound booster was not re-released.

I have an original IHP 1/72 VF-4 kit and as with other IHP kits I have noticed that their instructions are not too accurate, so do not rely on them. With my IHP 1/100 VF-11 project they stated the use of Kotobukiya joints, again ranging from sets #1 - 4, some indicating which size too. But as you try to build the kit you will notice that some will fit, while others do not

I had bad experience with PlayAsia, so I tend to stay away from them nowadays!

You've sold me Now I must go and get myself a copy! Is this for the PS1 or PS2? Can you also post a pic of the box as I know there are many Super Robot Wars games out there and I do not want to get the wrong one

The Tomahawks arrived yesterday, once again two thumbs up John!

Watch out though, not all PS1 games are compatible with teh PS2, especially older ones! So far, touch wood, all my PS1 Macross games do fine on my slim PS2 console.

Also, as far as I know, G-System's kit is also the only one on the recast market with metal parts. However, only the landing gears are in metal!

I also have both kits I must say you will encounter shrinkage on both kits, even the original by Club-M but just not as bad. The G-System kits does indeed have a few parts less. They are no missing, it is just they glued parts together and casted one piece instead of like two or three! Purchase the original if you can as it is far better than the recast as some recast are recast of a recast and the valk will be smaller. I heard my friend's recast valk's legs being shorter by 12mm! I have an original an it is up for sale, let me know I anyone is interested. I am asking $500 plus exact shipping cost and PayPal fees.

About resin quality, the nature of your kit warping is not due to the quality of the resin but more what you let it expose to. Many orginal kits and re-cast kits use the same resin. My re-cast SHE VF-4 kits uses resin from Japan and not the cheap stuff from China. Trust me, you will not only see the difference but feel it! The only problem you might face with cheap resin is either the stuff is terribly hard and will take you ages to prepare/sand/drill the kit (see G-System's stuff) or they mix it with some funny stuff to cut cost and the result are resin parts which do not adhere to anything, even primer!

Just as David Hingtgen says, resin can at times warp under own weight or stress. You should also avoid it from direct sunlight or any kind of long term exposure to a focused source of light (such as a spot light). You can try and fix your VF-4 by either heating the effected part with a hair dryer and shape it back or if the warping is very severe, soak the part in hot water and then shape it back.

Cube...I prefer to sell it as a full set... ...nightmareB4macross...will dig the kits out and take a pic of them!
