There are no official releases of any Macross Frontier anime with English subtitles and/or dubs.

Your best bet is to get a so called "official Malayisan" version with English subtitles, plenty on Ebay or ask around for fan made subs!

The KO are pretty easy to spot. First I beleive they did not issue all the variants and second there is no Kotobukiya logo.

Their KO quality is actually very good and good if you need to get a whole bunch as the cost like only a third of the original ones.

I will keep an eye the next time I pass by the model shops, though hoenstly I have not seen them around for quite some time, have you tried HLJ?

Held back on the first round of the BanDai DX Macross F toys but these new designs look too good to pass by!

So, with the new design, BanDai will have to release all new Fast Packs, Armor Packs etc, a real money spinner!

Two thumbs up for a fantastic great job, make me want to complete my kit, where I did some personal mods too!

is the pe set only available with the model?

You can get the glow in the dark stickers on-line at Yamato's website and I assume the photo etched parts are also available, unless they want to make it exclusive for the model kit set together with the broken off main cannon and different feet/main booster parts.

You should do fine with two boxes, unless your are really unlucky!

The second series is perhaps the rarest of all four and funny that you are still able to order so many boxes. There is only like one shop over here which still carries a full set and some loose ones (of course no YF-19!).

Graham, you should maybe try and PM VF_1S, aka Patrick. He built a S.H.E. kit and has many pics of his kit in all three modes, possibly also the transformation sequence!

The 1/72 is the older version, if so Graham has a mib one for sale at US$30 before shipping, might worth giving him a PM!

Letting go both of my rare Yamato 1/48 VF-1 valks, namely the VF-1J Stealth Super/Strike (the combo version) and the Macross Chronicles limited edition VF-1A TV type Kakizaki.

Both valks are new, only opened upon purchase at shop to make sure everything is intact, never taken out of the blister tray!

Asking US$350 each shipped, preferred payment method is PayPal sent as "gift" option, otherwise please add the 4% fees.

I have the Imai kit but it is in storage, I do however have a pic of it with part of the instructions showing the colors. Though not clear, you can vaguely make out the three main colors. After a quick reference check, they seem to be blue H35, brown H7 and green H36.

The box set Hikaru and/or Focker VF-1S with Fast Packs (Super & Strike parts) have not been re-issued for quite some time and prices have gone up a fair bit.

Your best bet is to get the re-issue VF-1S TV Focker and the Fast Packs separately, the Hikaru will be harder to track though as again, no re-issue for quite some time!

Hmmm, breakfast in one hand and mouse in the other hand is clearly not working!

Finally got around in digging out the Monster has seen beter days but the Monster itself is like new with tight joints, no discolouration and no broken leg! Sticker sheet is unapplied but one corner is coming loose.

Pics would have been better but I took this with my mobile phone in the middle of the night.

Seeing you are new to modelling you might want to consider getting the smaller 1/200 kit. Not only is it smaller but also since it was just recently re-issued, you will not have to pay big bucks for it!

I see shops selling them for like US$50-60, which is a steal consider how the original versions traded hands for like US$100-150 just a few years ago!

Yeah, I know which one you mean and I think there is one sitting around in one of my boxes! If I remember correctly, the toy is like new still with unapplied stickers. The box is in good condition with the normal wear for a +20 years old toy.

Btw, the Angels Bird version is not the same as the Macross Chronicles version as it does not include the Fan Racer model kit!
