I hope the story does begin with the Macross story line. If they're thinking of an 80's cartoon franchise, maybe that's why they chose Robotech since it has three separate plot lines they can choose or modify from. With the HG legal battles there's a good chance that instead of Macross they do a version of Mosepeada instead. There's only been a handful of movies that actually stayed true to it's animation origins (even 300 added pieces to the novel) so I hope the "spirit" of Macross/Robotech is kept. The movies Toby has been in besides the Spiderman franchise has always had strong story telling (Cider House Rules, Seabiscuit, Wonder Boys, The Ice Storm, etc.) so hopefully the writing for this movie is top-notch. All in all, at least there's the possibility of more transforming mech in the toy stores when the movie comes out. Let's just see how long it will take in development if it's on track as the Shadow Chronicles....2020!

As I said in another forum...ACK! on Snake Eyes 2-pack being BLUE! I like how they kept SS all-white, but blue to match the comic? Almost as bad as the neon green they gave poor Duke. Guess I will have to buy SE "espionage" look via eBay from someone who doesn't want him. Cool at least that Doc is being made a mail-away figure, wonder how many UPC codes it's going to take.

Real nice work there, I was just reading the Wildstorm Robotech comics where they showed Roy flying one of these and I was wondering if anything was produced. Too bad this hasn't been made into a kit, maybe for the 25th anniv. release Hasegawa will make it?

Watched this movie in one of my elementary school classes. I remember the SFX being real good but I did get annoyed when they turned the ship into a flying chrome almond-shaped Pee Wee Herman alien.

That is correct regarding the page lifting since the lid of my scanner doesn't come off so the edges of the pages tend to lift a bit. To negate the blur in the middle I just made sure that when I scanned the sections to have the enough overlapping for someone to overlay the un-blurred images on top of each other.

Uploaded re-scanned imaged. Did the best I could with my 8.5x11 size scanner. I scanned the sections into three parts (left, middle, right). Hope this works.

Nice, The YF-19 has a good scheme. Don't know about the VF-1S, looks o.k. but not wowing me. Is it known for these items to be limited editions or will they retail for the same price as the current 1/48s?

Would there ever be the possibility of re-issues for such large TFs with motors such as Omega Supreme and Trypticon? How about just large ones like Fortress Maximus or Metroplex? I'd like Omega Supreme since he was just one heck of a display piece in robot or tank/shuttle mode.

Based on the photos, is the Joker's white face and red lips make-up instead of his skin being that way due to the chemical bath? I still wish they changed the gold utility belt to black or silver color to make it darker looking.
