That just shows that Hasbro's distribution is lacking. 1,000,000 Mindwipes in one area and 0 in another is just sad. There's got to be some way to even out distribution and ideally eliminate the scalpers' market.

Saw it, liked it. The sometimes stiff acting, questionable screenplay, and exposition-driven story (I'd rather be shown than told) surprisingly didn't ruin it for me. I just found myself hoping for those issues to be addressed in the sequels. I thought the bending effects were well done. My wife loved it. She's now interested in watching the show. I can understand how some wouldn't have the same appreciation for the movie I did, but I encourage fans of the series to check it out. At worst, you'll have a new appreciation for the series. At best, you enjoyed the movie while increasing its chances of spawning some quality sequels.

My wife and I are looking forward to seeing it. I admit that I shouldn't have glanced at the review in the OP. It's better to go into a movie with little to no expectations, much less expectations that it'll suck.

The car was cool, but the toy was kinda lousy IMO.

Thanks for that link!

It's similar to both. It kinda combines MASK's more complex transformations with Switchforce's single button press. Brilliant toy, but I won't be buying one. I dig robots. Now, a fully automated robot transformation, I'll get on board with. Providing it's complex and neither mode sucks.

War for Cybertron Shockwave is most likely in the works.

That's strange. I was under the impression that once you've paid for any DLC on Xbox Live, you can always re-download it for free. -

The Xbox 360 Thread Pro Edition

Who's panicking? Never planned on getting a slim. My 2 bricked 360's can keep eachother company just fine. And RROD is a big deal because of the inconvenience and futility of sending them off to Microsoft for refurbishing. Every 360 owner I know got it. Those that sent theirs in for repairs eventually got it again. That makes the failure rate in my circle of friends, relatives and acquaintances 100%. At three to four hundred dollars a clip, I assure you that is not what we paid for. I understand nobody wants to hear negative things, but dismissive though some may be, these things still exist. I literally own stock in the company and have a vested interest in Microsoft getting its act together. Sue me. -

Oh man! That means that the MS's claims of changing out the hardware entirely are exaggerated. Shame shame shame... Also, had such a safety measure been used from the beginning, we probably wouldn't know what RROD is. Better, yes, but the problem (solder points that can't handle the GPU's normal operating temperature) is apparently still present. -
I don't worry not for such instances. It happens all of the sometimes.

Curse my luck, then. -
I'm pretty sure he knows Peter Cullen did that intro. The way he phrased it might have caused you to think otherwise.

I just sent mine out last week. Boo!2nd time getting RROD. Once on a 2nd batch version, and now with a newer HDMI version. So they'll send it back to me, it'll last 2 years tops, then RROD me all over again. Meanwhile, I've got a Sega Master System that still works! -

The Transformers 3 Thread--A Michael Bay Thread

I think Flint Dille mentioned him passing before season 3. They had plans for his character but had to phase him out during Five Faces of Darkness. -
Anybody remember ?

I call shenanigans on Michael Bay. -
Huzzah?

Of course not, Pithy McSarcasm. Transformers created an interest and made bandwagon robot movies a viable possibility. Now that the post TF2K7 and ROTF hype has died down, robot movies that have been in pre-development limbo are seemingly becoming less and less likely.
