Good call. That's probably exactly what will happen.

I really hope it's good. They all look pretty faithful to their original looks. Jinx must wear red.

But how do you really feel about it? I would side with Tigra. Lion-O lost points for being a cocky bastid.

The Transformers 3 Thread--A Michael Bay Thread
RD Blade replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
That's because they were integrated into the US military as assets. It would have been more effective if they operated on their own, occasionally providing support to the military whenever Decepticons were involved. Apparently, in part 4 they'll be able to hang out in diners without drawing too much attention. -
So he's out then?

Custom Beagle Yellow Belmont Lancer
RD Blade replied to Skull Hunter's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Can't tell you how impressive that custom is. Maybe iGear can replicate your process like they did the MP conehead seekers. -
You got it for $15?? Wow. That's crackhead prices.

That's because almost every Decepticon (and several Autobots)is grayish silver. "In Soviet Cybertron, everyone is individual...the same individual." -
The Transformers 3 Thread--A Michael Bay Thread
RD Blade replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It came straight from the horse's mouth. Bay explained the whole thing in detail on the 2007 commentary track. Of course, whether you take his word for it is a whole different story. -
The null rays on swing arms...Genius!I get the feeling that the shins shouldn't be exposed. Though absent from the pic, the feet on this mold seem to transform the same way Kawamori's version does, only they're more angular.

The Transformers 3 Thread--A Michael Bay Thread

Nothing too different, I'd imagine. For a couple reasons, off the top of my head. 1) As GU-11 said, any new director would likely try to emulate Bay's style. The reason: Bay's version of TFs has proven to be profitable. Deviating from a proven formula probably isn't something studios do without some arm-twisting. 2) ILM has a library of CG Transformers models that use Bay's design cues. Creating new models that look different from Bay's is expensive and time-consuming. So unless 4 is a reboot, aside from a few new additions, those models are being recycled...as seen with Barricade/Sideways and especially obvious with Blackout/Grindor. -
I've never stood them side by side, but I'd guess he's close in height to ROTF Leader Prime.

No Beagle Blow Superior... that blows superior...
RD Blade replied to EXO's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
The bottom tab hooks under the bottom edge at the back of Rand's upper-torso armor. The top tab snaps into the slot at the upper-center of Rand's back. It's a very secure fit.Without actually seeing what you described, I can't be sure my suggestion will help. edit: Alternatively: You may just be having trouble fitting his head through the opening. It can fit, but it takes insane precision. Most people would just remove the head during transformation for simplicity's sake. -
I don't think the set is worthwhile, but ROTF Leader Optimus is fantastic. Jetfire is very disappointing... so is the combined mode. The SR-71 Blackbird looks great from overhead, but craptastic from the side.

Here's hoping. And I also hope that, by the time an MP Galvatron arrives, the MP line hasn't been shrunk down to deluxe size...and cost $900.

Score! That's the pre-Kawamori mold! Since I don't have MP-03, I'll wait for the Hasbro MP-11.

He did great with Batman, but let's not forget that he wrote/directed Blade Trinity. -
I hate that she is reckless and impetuous, often resulting in somebody -including herself- being placed in mortal danger. She's hindered Bulkhead time and time again by putting him in a position where he has to fight with a handicap; the handicap of having to fight enemies while assuring that no harm comes to her...and while all this is happening, she's pulling a Scrappy Doo and kicking Decepticons in the ankles and other such futile (or detrimental) actions. Then, when the harm she's caused comes to light, she expresses deep regret, squirts some crocodile tears, and promises to mend her ways...only to do it again within one or two episodes! She's constantly running through the ground bridge just before it closes, despite being told to stay at the base. She does this so often, in fact, that other characters on the show predict her disobedience, yet do nothing to stop her. From a writer's standpoint, Miko is great. She creates suspense by adding more challenges and obstacles to the existing hardships the Autobots face. She's got "attitude", so Jack, Raph, and Agent Fowler are free to stick to their own prototypical roles. But when all is said and done, she is just a bad person...selfish, annoying, arrogant, and brash. That's why I hate Miko.
-
The only human on the show I hate is Miko. But my hatred for her is so huge, it's as if I hated the entire human cast.

Well played, sir.
