Just a heads up to BluRay fans. BluRay manufacturers have figured out how to maximize profits while robbing consumers. Remember when the extra $5 would get you a 3 disc set (BluRay, DVD, & Digital copy)? Now you get a single double-sided disc and the "digital copy" is streaming (internet required). Oh, and Transformers rock. -
G1 is kind of an unfair comparison. Those toys were designed around very accurate vehicle modes and sacrificed much of the robot modes. MP-01 was the opposite.

Great pics! I just got mine today as well. I dislike the auto gimmick thing much more than expected. The lion's legs won't bend in directions they should and are impeded by all the stuff the gimmick requires. Bad move on Matty's part.

Much like Transformers, the scale of Voltron and the lions was all over the place. But judging by Lance's size, the Matty lions are 1/18.

If that Dairugger does well, maybe Matty will give it the giant Lion Force treatment.

She checks out OK. Been treating this figure with kid gloves. I can't help but notice how strange her joints are. Do the rest of the CMs figures have diagonal joints?

I have a problem with letting broken toys be. By now, I would probably have McGuyver'ed a paper clip and super glue to replace the broken peg. Even if the result isn't as pretty, I'd be less obsessive about it.

I get the impression Bruticus is mistranformed and posed poorly. I will say that the opaque shoulder connections is a huge improvement over the Energon-esque ones from last week's pics.

Thanks for the tip! She'll only have to survive one transformation a year, if the same holds true as with my other ride armors.I can't figure out why the Toynami Scott is worth so much more than Rand. The toys have the exact same level of quality and both were prominent on the show. Rand's integrated weapon is actually more impressive to me than Scott's grenade launchers.

And the Toynami Rand looks like Eric Stoltz about to stab Rook with an adrenaline needle. BTW, this discussion is to blame for me recently buying a CMs Fuke ride armor. Can't wait to get it.
