  1. Just noticed that Over-drive as always had some order troubles again and nearly sent me two Klans for the price of one.

I struggled with my conscience and decided to tell them. Too bad, I could really need the money but I won't start "stealing" stuff with a toy.

    Only software, music and movies...

Haven't heard any shipping notice from Overdrive yet. Do they start to ship the Klan figure already?

  2. I am happy to see the words "new" and "design" together. I will get this if indeed it isn't just a turtle with a shell.

Someone in 'Toysdaily' mention about the hatch from the 'landing' feet will be different... I don't know where he get this info from. I think he means the landing gears.

And I can only guess Bandai will change the wheels/landing gears with better details - that is one of the easiest thing they can improve the VF25.

  3. Been a while since I posted pics of my Macross stuff as has it's been since I've had any interest. With the 1/48 TV Max out now I found a large enough base to hold the glass for my display to make room for it as well as the 1/48 TV Kakizaki. GBP Armors and a few 1/48's are still packed away, but they will be displayed soon enough. I'll be picking up the 1/60's too as they are cooler than the other side of the pillow, but I am still a diehard 1/48 fan.

    1/48's...ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!!

That is a very beautiful display! :)

  4. I also love how you can literally customize these birds however which way you or I want. Like for instance, if i really wanted to, i could put a strike pack on a 1D. The only thing I don't like is how freaken difficult it is to pull out landing gear. I always have to use my tweezers under the wheel to help pull it out.

Yes, the wheels are so hard to pull out in ver2 VF1.

Although it is not a really big deal, all vf1 could pack a small tool to slove this issue.

  5. So... No news about a possible Phalanx or, more importantly, Spartan? No 1/60th Regult mentioned over the weekend? Or Glaug? No GNU-Dou TV version SDF Macross that can run around Daedalusing my other robots in the butt?

After all the excitment (1/2000 SDF-1, 1/60 VT1 , VE1 and 30cm Quarter) in the last few days, I couldn't help there is a bit disappointment without hearing about 1/60 Regult or Glaug.

I feel your pain. I started my toy collection a few years ago, gundam, macross, all different kind of toys/figures and a lot of video games too... BTY I am also in video game industry myself. It certainly worrying. So many projects are being canceled and so many laid off...

People spending money for their pets, sport cars and big house. Toy is no different.

However, diffcult time like this meaning careful spending and perpare the worst. I am lucky that still have a job and still single. Whatever I spend, just be sure that I can really able to afford and still have certain amount of saving each month! Most of my toy collections are based on my childhood dream too. I guess it is rather common to us who like collect toys. Things that we couldn't own when we were kid, now we can!

If I were you, I wouldn't sell my toys collections unless there is no other options. Your collections may be nice, however it is hard to get a good deal since economy is so bad. And you might have a tough time to get/buy them back oneday! You could just start to find different type of job to pay the bid, that might not be video game related - you might even hate it, but just for now, be strong.

Video game industry will looks bad in recenty months/years, lots of laid off and down scale companys/projects. But it is actually make the whole industry stronger in a long run, better bussiness practice, better planing and better management.

Please just keep trying. Good days will come.

    Good luck.
