    Man, it is nice. love the fighter mode! Even if we are lucky, that is 25000 yen, it would be like 320 USD plus whatever the shipping cost... Still too much.

    Their Japan offical cost are- Yamato VF-17: 24,800 yen Bandai VF-171 EX: 14,700 yen Bandai VF-171 is 10,000 yen (around 120 US dollars) cheaper than VF-17. There must be something Yamato can work on.

    I am more refer to... Bandai's 171 has better complex packaging, competitive price point, nice ready decals and free stands etc. I understand that it is a little unfair to compare with Macross Seven (1994) toys with Macross Frontiers (2008) toys, there are 14 years gap between them! Yamato's high price point cretainly push some casual collectors away.

    I hope Yamato learn something from Bandai VF-171. I think VF171 DX sell extreme well compare with VF-17. Yamato should lower its price. Not just target the hardcord Macross fans.

    Got my shipping notices finally... Guess the system is a bit slow. I am hoping the order list, shipping list and shipping notice would update at the same time in the future!

    I have similar problem... ordered a VF1A ealier with some pre-order stuff last week. Today I login, there are some order items missing... and never get any shipping notice from them! Now I am pretty confuse.

    Watched it, love it. It is a story exits in the same universe as the ALIEN but a different timeline. Events are somewhat related, but it is not a prequel at all. AND it is not a horror movie, instead it is a thrilling 'exciting' ride!

    In case you like some Prometheus Toys.... news from Neca. A Prometheus Line is Coming Up This Summer We’re extremely excited about the upcoming film from Ridley Scott and have our hands full with a new line of figures. We’ll probably be able to show some Prometheus sculpts by the end of June.
