  1. Count me in for one Jessee.. Like I stated before I have the recast of the retpuu one(or maybe clum-M since I have the boosters and fast packs) but I like to have the rockets and missiles along with it... ..but most importanly what i really want is the canopy. My ferrets got a paw on the kit and I can't find it...may be valkyrie can do that one.
  2. yeah, like knight26 said is Sara from Macross Zero
  3. You can always get another macross toy if there's no Yamato...some X company might come out with the ultimate-ultimate VF resin kit or whatever toy...eventually. If you don't get it by christmas there's a birthday coming up next year BUT but to this point in time I have only seen one Deep striker masterfully made in GFF trend and such is a unique piece; your other choice is a $400 or so resin kit.
  4. Just wait until it comes on DVD by christmas.. Guys you should know better; its all about money....
  5. I have the retpuu but it did come with the leg fast packs and boosters...I would love to have the top/down rockets along the kit ALA club-M YF-19 that includes the fold booster, extra missiles, and the such... Myeserjesee has them all...(hint)
  6. I have read several mixed reviews about this movie and it seems the most dissapointing part is that people seem to expect the very same feeling than the first one, which is pretty hard to match since all the ideas and cause/effects have been already done. So the themes and ideologies evolve along the trilogy and in 'Revol' it gets deep a bit too deep for most. Most people have a hard time accepting this. I also read some facts that the ideologies and metaphors given in the movie are hard to cop with and/or interpret properly. More confusion and "unsettled" scores... I'll get my personal opinion when I get to see it...
  7. AMEN to that....(crossfingers..) if not Grayson might have the answer..
  8. I say RECAST!!! I have a recast of the original VF-11 but I lost the canopy (This is becoming a ridiculous tread on my kits)
  9. is actually spelled "MaÑana" (courier type)
  10. Here in VA; washington metropolitan area it cost around $6.50 matinee before 6 PM and adults usually $8.50 I haven't gone to the movies in about 6 months, by now I wait until they come up on DVD and watch it in my big movie screen.
  11. Oh the pics, yeah that...
  12. TLW_ you are using too much banwidth that way and that's why this treads get deleted, could you please put a link instead??? -BTW those pinguins are from Mary Poppins so it's no a weird out of the ordinary experience... -here goes something Off topic but might bring a smile to some... 1-my ride, the moped 2-choices to deal with military downsizing...
  13. I like the mushroom sequence. The snake part just blows in my opinion... While at first I agreed, after 20 minutes, I realized that the snake breaks up the monotony and actually becomes what makes lengthy viewings possible. The mushroom part is excellent, though, because it has no real relevance to anything else in the... um... film. A large snake might eat a small badger, or a large badger might eat a small snake, but neither would be interested in mushrooms. It's just there, as if being there validates its own existance. Brilliant. All in all, I think Funny Badgers is a genius work of art, and long for the release of a Special Edition Funny Badgers DVD. I think the snake is part of the Special Edition. The author thought that the monotony was too personal as it symbolized too much of his life only to have it amplified because the snake represented his former girlfriend. There's much too be said of his suffering for his art... DAMN IT, I cant see any of thiese cause at work, it says its resticted for Pornography BTW EXO, nice to see the halloween spirit Does anyone knows when the director's cut with Extended edition comes out????

    Why do we do it?

that's pretty much close to the real reason. There's more to just a receded chilhood memory (althought the main reason) to collecting not only macross but any item in particular...It goes way back to primeval man and the need to sort and collect things around us.
  17. I always wonder what does a super-rechargable-all mighty-robot has to do with destroying alien anemies with an exacto knife...?
  18. Yeap, it could get pretty expensive to kit bash models. Your best bet is to stop in a semy big hobby shop. The ones that carry trains and WW II models and ask them for styrene sheets. Also depending of what you wanna do, balsa wood, sculpey and cardboard are good for scratch building. Some internet model stores and some specializing sites carry them. go to google and reach for evergreen styrene sheets...
  19. Now that's some beautiful worthfull nose art.... edit for spelling

  23. I am not a transformers fan but that sculpture says exactly what megatron is all about... Love it.
  24. I think the same way. Since your skills are pretty good with just cardboard I wonder how they would look in styrene, balsa wood, vacume formed, sculpey or resin recasted pieces... post more pics....
