last pic I promess..!! If you notice the cannons, they are small brass tubes individually hand cut with a saw. They are shaded with smoke airbrush in the tips to simulate fired rounds.

Mr. captain, Oh my captain... The last picture is the way that is displayed as a diorama with the Furuta toys which compliment them pretty good. The Tochiro one costed me $18.00 !! from a HK seller( they are scarse now), but worth it to finish the look.

Mr. Yoda "..Do or do not; there's no try..." by far my favorite line in the SW universe, besides the "..I am your father!!.." one. I used one of the gundam sabers and it makes it look a lot cooler...
-
The queadlunn that I put a lot of heart on specially the shading and the pictures doesn't make it justice... After looking at the pics I just realized I need to detail it more on the depressions and panel lines...

These are some of the stuff I been working on in the last month and a half or so. After 2 years of building these suckers I have realized that they not only takes less time but they are becoming easy to deal with and a lot easier to notice the mistakes. When you think you have finally finished then you find there's something else to detail on... I am just glad I have adquired some experience on it. Hope you like them: -1/144 bandai VF-11C. I used hasegawa and old wave decals on it -1/144 kaiyado Queadluun Quiltra - Some out on the goonies Thailand Yoda resin model. This is my first attempt on a scupted figure ever... - Lastly, my favorit pirate Captain Harlock ship the arcadia this one took me the longest PS: MODS I placed all kits pics in this one batch because they were mainly macross kits and easier to do. If they have violated the supreme and universal macross model gallery ammending laws please fell free to move them to the other forum, thanks.

Is funny how expensive this little model can be. I remember it sold at $25 some times and at $60 in others on e-bay. They made them in 1/72 and a 1/48 scales. I am not sure of 1/144. They used the legs of the bronco and attached it to the orguss torso ( that's the way it goes If I remember correctly).

Best thing to do id to leave a letter on the door nob with a message to the elves to either stop or aske them to show themselves off.. -
My oldest macross kits are a 1/170 armored battroid and the transformable 1/72 bandai VF-1D which I still have.

I hate to say it Graham, but I think you're wrong. Notice the positioning of the cockpit, especially the "hole" which the pilot's lower body goes into. It's clear that it is in a vertical orientation with the rest of the Q-Rau. 1) How the cockpit is illustrated already, the hole for the lower half of the body clearly goes straight down, not into the backpack, and 2) the Meltrandi pilots would have to be extremely flexible to get their legs into that backback! May be "he knows something you don't know..." ??

Yeap, just like the super O you can also build it without the fast packs on regular fighter mode. Besides, a little piece of styrene might fix that. I am not sure about the angled Knee though; you might be stuck with that...

It seems that a lot of us concluded that millias leg would go on the legs of the Q-Rau just like the male's suit. My question are - How can she place her legs in such a tight space when the suit is "sitting"? (may be the pilots places him/her-self in and waits for the suit to stand up?) -Has anyone imagine how hot her arm pits must get when she loads a heavy round of blast form the front cannons? -Man...where do you go potty!??
-
It's that ROY the man....? I hope they put Miriya to make the whole set worth buying. Other wise will be individual search again.

They made it look just, or even better than the 1/48 Club-M.. very impressive

And when everything was going so well...

Did any of you read the book??? That would make sense though. On the book each character goes on its own for several years to finally come together to a conclusion except for Pippin, Merry and Sam which still goes on. How else could you finish the movie faithfull to the book in little time unless you take some time to end each/set of character first. It might actually be the best approach faithfull to the book. I just wanna see how does the director accomplishes this... Abombz, Southp...you guys beat me to it...darn it..!!! -

Would you mind giving us some tips on the process between the 3rd and 4th pictures?? 1-main base light color or prime 2- second base dark shade color 3-over coat with light shade color What type of airbrushh do you use to keep the panel lines from becoming saturated with the light top paint coat? Do you layer top coats of gloss enamel or future in between colors ? -
Have you even bother on checking their web site? They are pros...top notch

Which is your favorite Star Wars movie?
007-vf1 replied to Jolly Rogers's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
For me it has to be ROTJ the last battle scene with the death star and the millenium F entering the it was breath taking. It was a pretty well done balance between the 3 scenes ( luke, battle and ewoks in Endor) To that point I don't remember any other movie encompassing such a complex battle scenes; too bad it was short. If they didn't spend such a long time on Luke struggling for his light saber it would have been one of the top 3 movies of the past century. No doubt the ESB has the best story and script of them all... -
Indeed they are pretty well done kits... congratulations.. TotenK- By the way what scale are the Gundams?? they also look great is there a chance I can get a bigger pic of them?
-
Holy Kurushima!!!! that guy is a bit of a pervert... Me likes...

Southern Shaolin with wushu foundations. I got there half way( blue belt) Hapkido; blue belt green stripe. Again over half way gone It sucks to have to quit a job for a better pay and then give up everything else that follows along.. At least I have some of the tumbling and acrobatics to keep in relative shape. Hope one day to continue wushu...If the body allows it
-
Exactly my thoughts. I think she looks a bit too busty as well... CW- I don't know what scale is yours but it might be a different size model...

In a way I don't see the point. It'll come in gray of course but then you still have to paint it and weather it to make it look nice. The only interesting thing will be the decals set...jut like on the Minmay 1S battroid; and for that we have Takatoys and Anasazi.....right? (edit for SP)

....where is Nanashi when we need it??
