  1. yeap..I got a bunch of different pics but I didn't think it would be such a great idea to post all of them here... I'll post only some of the ones I got requested on; I wouldn't recomend anyone to go any time soon since they have thousands of perople form Virginia going every day; and the place needs to be finished and expanded -David; I have your Concorde landing gear pic, and yes I went to the observation tower (which isn't that spectacular after all) and took a pic of the Korean air 747 landing; the pic is zoomed. - Unknown target, your enterprise pics, they took sections of the wings to test distress responses because of the Columbia accident.
  2. I second that! your skills are top notch...
  3. Same here. A really easily broken spacecraft. So did I...I was thinking of how cool would it look like( not that it doesn't) in wood. Oh well, next time title it BalZam, or balsamh, or Bhalsamh to keep us from getting confused...
  4. the F-22 raptor ( or may be the YF? ) to which they took the engines off... Last one but not least. The last thing you think you would see at this museum....the mother ship from the movie "Close encounters". Also you would find several rockets and rocket trusters in detail I took pictures of; as well as a bunch of gliders and wind-man powered planes...
  5. My 2 brothers with the concord in the background and the trusters of the SR-71 on the second pic
  6. The always controversial Enola Gay....the metal finish on this baby is well polished....you can see the original mangled pieces of metal that has survived over the years...
  7. I went to this museum on the first of Jenuary when I thought everyone was going to have a hung over and wake up late. For my surprise over 5000 visitors showed up along with us. The good thing is that this museum is just 5 minutes from my house. I took several pics for modeling reference, specially the concord's landing gear. You can see a great amount of WWII and modern planes displayed, including the space shuttle enterprise; but that's about all what this museum has to offer for now. Also if you get to see a movie in the Imax theater I suggest you to see the show "Adrenaline rush"; is worth watching.. ...The pics from the entrance 2nd floor you can see the 'Black bird' with the Enterprise in the background. this is the part where the restorers make you go WOW.....
  8. I like to see if he flames this seller with negative feedback once he finds out what he paid for...
  9. If you are talking about the 1/144 scale resin dudes, then yes. Almost of al the Yellow submarine fighters came with it. They all are practically the very same launcher.
  10. How does it looks like? well my explanation is like this...: It looks like a little box hanging from the space craft "under-belly "from where an extension arm lowers the valk into space; then a crane holds it in it's claws!! and catapults it towards the objective... It appeared on the VFX 1 game Where is the darned pic??.. Oh here they are... -circle 1; shows the lunching catapult -circle 2; shows the underbelly and where the launch arms lowers. -lower pic; actual launch arms in detail with figthers
  11. Use the same exacto knife to redo the panel lines when filled of putty and sanded down... also use something like a ruler to drive the knife straight. Or even easier; buy an scriber...
  12. I know how that feels!!! I got 2 fighters vf-1S strike and a VF-1A ready for final MM clear coat I had tamiya base coat and when I sprayed it, BANG!! the base coat smears off like the Witch of OZ. I left it to dry for 2 days and I thought it was dry. As you can see you can't trust paints and weather. That's why now I use airbrush instead of the cans to coat the models...
  13. would you mind giving me the real size specs of the 1/72 zentraedy pod? I like to scratch buil one...
  14. Looks nice Valk. I have some of the tect as well in case you want to add extras for recasting, the VF-11 rockets and gun pod and the gerwalk convertion, as well as the 1/72 club-M VF-11 and the retpuu battroid with all the extras. The Ebo 1/72 ghost ; the 1/72 Star wars Outrider. I always thought making recast of the YF-19 gunpods and missiles was a good idea.
  15. How come no one mentioned "Space balls"??
  16. This has to be the most expensive DVD's I have ever seen. I only would bid on them If they were signed by Mr. Macross himself and with gold plated covers. Macross Zero
  17. ....With a very sharp exacto knife and some delicate tracing . Then the little pieces details are added with styrene....
  18. Last time I Ordered a couple of items .They arrived in a small box; it took UNDER 3 weeks to arrive here to Washington DC ( Virginia to be exact). I have ordered a second batch of items and It has been 1 and 1/2 weeks so far.
  19. LTSO; I dig that stand a lot...
  20. You are forgeting the possibility of a 1/60 mac monster...

Link to the CMC site where it was originally posted... CMC gray gerwalk
  23. The movie was good and as close as possible could have been adparted, was true to the book. That is something you don't see a lot of. I am just glad he didn't screwed up that much when trying to steer around the book to make sense of the short time they had to make the flick work. I also look forward to the cut sceneson the ED with the shire and Saruman, the healing baths on Minas T, and probably see Sam using the ring before rescuing Frodo.
  24. Thank you guys for the compliments... Neova- yes is the bandai 1/1000. I wish they made a 1/1000 atlantis as well and costed under $50. I seen the 1/1400 going for over $200 on ebay
