  1. This is my first full custom toy ever... the Exo Squad close to 1/72 scale coverted to late TV style.
  2. You are right, the shading and shadow is so great it fooled me for a minute....
  3. Damn!! that's so freaking cool...so many...... How long did it take you to build that many? Unlike Gabe I like an slightly weathered look because it brings out the detail lines and it gives it a moder 3D look just like on the VF-1D. Don't i wish you had more close up HQ resolution pics of them...?
  4. A 1/48 VE-1 convertion kit? now that's an enterprise I would like to see someone getting into. Now that the pool had narrowed down I find it very hard to make a choice since I have still 3 item I want just as bad...but I think we are heading in the right direction; thank you LTSO A 1/48 fan racer would be easy on the pocket because is small and easy to ship. Not to be a party pooper either but if people always complaints about over spending, or too expensive here and there it just make sence to go for stuff most of us can afford and not necessarily stuff we wanna have... *There's no way you can get a good quality Koening monster at 1/100 scale for under $200 the casting is tedious, the pieces are too many to keep it low cost.
  5. that picture above has 2 dart vaders, 3 bobba fett and so many imperial guards... I don't know how more geeky can that get...but I think I like it...
  6. May be you wanna start with a rare one that hasn't been finish to this day...I am working on the hikaru's fan racer and cat's eye. The VF-4 , lancer, legios/tread and Queadlunn have already been done in the past in their main schemes. I don't recall seeing a 1/72 fan liner, YF 19, 21 or VF-11 in resin finished by a member from this forums. Let alone the only 20 or so in the world of the Phalanx kit. Once you get past the painfull process of trimming the excess, puttying, sanding, glueing, pinning and priming the resin; the rest works virtually just like a regular plastic kit....
  7. sooo...where are the pics?
  8. Hey!! aren't we becoming pros fast??? that's very well done dude... ...that canopy is superb... My kits are almost done...a bunch of them at once. I should get a canon fodder fighter done one of these days...
  9. 1/72 = 2 - vf-19,yf21 1/60 = 3 1/48 = 1 I might end up buying the VF-1S hikaru 1/48; but then there's the 1/60 queadlunn R coming up.

    custom 1/48 CF + FP

That's exactly The same technique I use to shade...base color first and then light over coat. iT saves a couple of steps with the clear coat and weathering...though the draw back..is a hell of a tedious work...!! I am working on a DYRL VF-1A Max and the Cats eye and I can calculate about over 10 hours in just paiting them both including the detail nozzles and such...but is a more secure way of getting the finishing you want with pretty small or no mistakes...
  11. ...how about now in plain english...?
  12. I don't understand why people keeps on asking about stuff that can become already available ? - 1/72 VF-4 (from club M)? Valkyrie has it and might be able to produce more..His price won't be beat by any other company... -Queadlunn-Rau? (from club-M)? I can make it available the molds are still holding for several copies, if there's interest, it will be at the same price that has been availabe before... -VF-11 (from club-M)? ask Valkyrie, I might make mine available so you can all get a copy. You know that the cost would be a fair price. I am already building my cat's eyes so I can't help there...I wish I would have thought of it before...even the pices are just a few but a lot of resin and the casting is a bit complex to reproduce...
  13. It's darn nice. Even some space physics are very realistic. too bad is not completed but is the longest action packed sequence I seen to this day...
  14. It reminds me of the air-carrier in the washington DC's museum but it isn't this big. I like the weathered details on the hull.

  18. ......Sooooo, what happens when the cucumber rotens and starts smelling like sweaty-blistered feet??
  19. I ordered it back in November and I just received notice for payment and shipping. I ordered 2 of them if anyone needs one let me know i'll sell it. just keep in mind my order of 2 came to $70 freaking greens!! with shipping.
  20. You can just leave it if that's what you want. The clear coat is just an extra coat to seal the paint and wash; but also protects the paint and adds an extra thickness to it that helps on avoiding scratching. The reason to add layers of paints and clear coats is to do just that add "safety" to the already painted layers. If the clear coats are made of a different medium than the paints they can make it easier to "erase" new mistakes without altering the under layers...
  21. don't forget the pr0n ...and un-revealing-always-welcome nudity... I think some of these companies have somethign about Disney or viceversa. I heard the story about Dreamworks, and talking about sweet revenge, how they got back at Disney with Shrek (they really stuck it to them)
  22. Yeah man; I was wondering the same thing myself.... ...where's all those bizillion "makurosu" stuff we should be seeing? Man, I have to buy myself a house with a big basement soon...
  23. Ok. my first wish item... 1/72 DYRL zentraedi Nougadelga....so it can be posed together with the 1/72 hasegawa ostrich
  24. Oh, that's good to know....so they are the suckers that suckered the whole thing uh?

    Larger Scale VF-0

Yes, and then we realize is too big for shelf space and then every one goes: " there's no way I'll pay that much for a toy that size", bla, bla bla....
