I believe macross customs toys is a very good idea. I would also like to see specifically macross model customs page added to the toys as well...
-
well that wouldn't be so surprising since the valhalla 3 kit has them in 1/700...quite small...which makes them the smallest ever, as far as I know..

WHOA!!!
I want one, I want one now.....

ALL WARRIOR..!!!!!... that's my favorite part
let's rock !!, must be a fire bomber fan big time...( it would be more impressive if he spelled right..)

i think that the main problem with the YF-19 is that the mechanical design has several issues like different proportions in three modes.
Isn't that the story of all macross toys..?

Condolences to the family and fans
'Superman' made history and it will be missed...

It makes me wonder with all the soccer moms in the US, why is soccer still a secondary sport?
Well I will answer that question;
It is a secondary sport in the US only; and the main reason why that is, is because marketing. You see, baseball and football are "slow" games. They have quantious and boring breaks and stops which allows companies to advertise their products on. You only get one break on soccer and some of the adds are placed atop the screen while the game is going on. So, since is not very nice and profitable for some companies they rather don't encourage it as a sport. Capitalism at its best
All soccer fans would hate to see a Budwiser logo on the screen when Romario is heading towars the opposite golie..
See what I mean?

Tha baby blue is back!!!

I would like to have 2 of them if possible.

That's one of the reasons I love Mac+ so very much. The variety of music ranges from hi-speed electronica(InfoHigh) to orchestral genius(Cantabile) to rock(Does "After in the dark" count as rock?).
amen to that !!
'After in the dark' is one of my favorite pieces in macross ever. I would call it pop-rock
Don't forget that Mac plus vastly improved on better and more complex fighting scenes on the Macross continuity and left behind that slow, sloppy and unpredictable Physics on battles with regards to the earlier series..

nicely done
the paint job looks awesome!
keep up the good work
with all those kitbashes can it still transform?
Unfortunately it can not, it wasn't designed to transform; but since the arms and legs are movable some extreme posing can be done.
The biggest draw back is that the legs has to be detachable for the arms to change positions
* My goal was make it close to this very unusual and awesome pose, and still make back to a standart gerwalk pose. Well, not only I accomplished this but it also has the boosters attached...

here are some of the finished pics of the model..as some of you might have followed on the original thread, there has been 3 different kitbashed models to accomplish this effect; the legs and arms including their respectively fast pack of the hasegawa battroid. The back pack plus the canon/ missile fast packs, fuselage and wings of the hasegawa fighter; and the arm swivel system and trusters/burners of the bandai kit..

NNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
...another one bites the dust...!!!
Congrats dude...she's a cutie and seems to be a keeper..
Let's hope she doesn't get frisky with the valk collections..

I agree about the drop tank, is just odd. I think the model maker just wanted to put something out of the ordinary there and didn't think about that detail.
The missile pylons seem to have been place there to eventually carry the gun pods on each side but the guy never got time to do it and most likely would have also looked odd....(just a wild guess)
The only idea I can come up with about the signatures in the nose, is to go to a hobby store and buy dry transfers or decals for HO train sets or WWII plane optional decals. I have seen some of those custom made with hand written schemes in black and white and would be a perfect match for that VF...

I also thing $360 is too much. around $250 a bit higher is just fine some times you cna find them lower than $200.
Now about the question if it is worth buying; my answer is yes, It should be a must...if you like models that is

There are dozens of Macross mecha that people don't know about. They are mostly only seen on the arts bok or briefly on a TV episode and most of them don't have a lot of detailed descriptions.
Now, i would love to see some of those made into toys or models...
