Unfortunately it can not, it wasn't designed to transform; but since the arms and legs are movable some extreme posing can be done. The biggest draw back is that the legs has to be detachable for the arms to change positions * My goal was make it close to this very unusual and awesome pose, and still make back to a standart gerwalk pose. Well, not only I accomplished this but it also has the boosters attached...

A side view check the nice zentraedi arrowed decals by the cockpit. It pais to save or buy models that are 20+ years old for $5.95...Thank Anasazi and Amped for facilitating some of the decals...

Minmai in all her glory..... I had 2 sets of Minmai decal..Anasazis' and the original hasegawa...the minmay on the NP-BP-02 booster decal was provided by Amped

here are some of the finished pics of the model..as some of you might have followed on the original thread, there has been 3 different kitbashed models to accomplish this effect; the legs and arms including their respectively fast pack of the hasegawa battroid. The back pack plus the canon/ missile fast packs, fuselage and wings of the hasegawa fighter; and the arm swivel system and trusters/burners of the bandai kit..

NNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! ...another one bites the dust...!!! Congrats dude...she's a cutie and seems to be a keeper.. Let's hope she doesn't get frisky with the valk collections..

I agree about the drop tank, is just odd. I think the model maker just wanted to put something out of the ordinary there and didn't think about that detail. The missile pylons seem to have been place there to eventually carry the gun pods on each side but the guy never got time to do it and most likely would have also looked odd....(just a wild guess) The only idea I can come up with about the signatures in the nose, is to go to a hobby store and buy dry transfers or decals for HO train sets or WWII plane optional decals. I have seen some of those custom made with hand written schemes in black and white and would be a perfect match for that VF...

I also thing $360 is too much. around $250 a bit higher is just fine some times you cna find them lower than $200. Now about the question if it is worth buying; my answer is yes, It should be a must...if you like models that is

This is mine i believe the very first one in the US. It was built over a years ago..

Those Detolf cabinets are probably one of the best ones I have ever purchased..and they were "dirt cheap" at $60 each.. I recomend them to anyone who lacks room space.. Too bad the Ikea close to me already run out of them..I need a couple more... Oh yeah, nice collection..

it looks like you won't make the armor detachable? in that case it is a lot easy to deal with. One thing you'll realize once is done is that the legs armor looks quite stubby and big. I had to do several cuts to make it look proportional to the rest of the battroid...

you are refering to this pic? it was a customized model from hasegawa done by a master japanese? entusiast. I am not sure but it was depicted on one of the model magazines on the magazene sections

the neck can be mounted slighly higher or lower but you can't do much about it unless you cut it shorter...it might look weird at first but it doesn't look bad once you see it from a different angle...in fact the so-so detail in the neck is pretty nice...
