  1. how tall is this kit? is it comparable to a MG gundam in size?

    thanks

    chris

I don't know about the kit but the box is as big as the 1/48 size box.. the armor and the VF-0S comes inthe same package so 2 kits in one. The front cover in gorgeous in meatlic gray..I ordered mine from Hobby search 1999 a week ago and it's already here through EMS; fastest delivery ever. I got that topped by HLJ just a couple of times.

  2. I'm gonna get hit for saying this, but it reminds me of the "Thunder Hammer." Yes, I'm sorry I brought that up. - MT

Oh you shouldn't get hit . Actually I was surprise to the similarities..I think the guy tried to incorporate a mix of the classic and the Thunder's GBP style.

I would buy it with the idea of moding it close to the classic GBP since the arms shouldes and forelegs are the real pain when it comes to moding the old imai kits..This kit has more of the hard work cut up for you; and like CobyOne said a bit of moding and gap filling could erase some unwanted details...

  3. Here it goes another shot. May be not as accurate but I did my best a while ago while modding an exo squad one a couple of years back...

The "visors" or radar screens are angled in a weird way...

  4. anyways, Im a huge star wars fan, and have just moved on to macross.

so far Ive seen  macross 7, macross plus, and macross zero. havent seen the original though. Im addicted to sci fi.

    Aren't we all around here..?

    You have to see DYRL

    geeks until the end man...

  5. Too bad I´m too broke to have a holiday AND this kit...  :(  but at least I want to see lots of pics, a build-up thread and several dioramas! even if it means I´m gonna cry if I see this beauty!

    Oh man...you will cry....you will......

  6. By desteny's fate I had the opportunity to lay my little paws on one o these trucks. I must say I am quite impressed by the sculpt.

The details on the under side vents and fuel/chemical valves are simply exquisite... I didn't know you could get this much detail on one mold, and is a big chunk or resin..

    Thanks Capt..

  7. That would be the Dragon II.

Tanmen made a kit of it in 1/72, and a lucky few people here own one.

I've been wanting to get my hands on one for quite a while now...  Anyone out there want to sell theirs?

You know I am half way building that sucker since last year..any hints on what the trouble areas are at or any suggestions on how to cut steps or skip mistakes..?

    What color are you using?

  9. I think the 1/144 N-ger was probably one of the best investments I found in the last 5 years. They used to cost about $100 on ebay at some point. I bought 1 at $65 If i recall correctly. But when Adrian found several for $15 each.. is was a crime not to at least buy one....

I also bought destroids from Hobby fan but have not looked at the recast quality. I have purchased other recasts from people over seas though ebay at about the same price and they came out good.

these ones are from one of those ebay recasters i built a few years ago...
